So far this vacuum sealer works like a charm. I have experimented with different things; fresh, frozen and even some produce. (Learned that you SHOULD NOT vacuum seal onions!!) definitely keeps food fresher longer. Some items I sealed, I wasn't going to eat all at once, so I sealed it in a bigger bag, (cut open just under the previous seal) and just kept sealing the same bag, until product was gone, thus saving bags. I am single and I buy bulk, portion out and freeze a lot of meats. I don't get freezer burn on those meats anymore. I have also tried seasoning/rub meats and vacuum sealing for marinading. WOW did that work awesome. definitely helped the seasoning/rub get into the meat better. I have not used the attachment for "vacuum container" sealing, so I can't comment on that.

Now here's a handy item. Though the quality of this sealer does not appear to be on the top tier, it's practical function certainly is. Used it in two different sessions and so far it performed on the top tier. I particularly like the simplicity of it's sealing capacity and being able adjust the size bag I need accordingly. I plan to keep it and expand it's function.

Convenience: Makes food storage and organization much easier, especially for those who cook often. Cons: Roll Container Size: The back roll container is a bit too small and doesn’t accommodate a 50-foot roll—only the included 10-foot roll fits. This is a minor inconvenience but worth noting. Final Thoughts: I have no idea why I waited so long to purchase this! It’s an awesome, must-have kitchen unit for anyone who cooks a lot or wants to maximize freezer space. Highly recommended!

This was a replacement for a name brand food vac that quit working. This one works fine and I love that you can control it for soft foods that are easily crushed. Only complaint is there were so many stickers on it that it left a residue which I'm still trying to get off. There were several small pieces that were loose in the storage compartment so instead of trying to keep them stored inside the machine I put the small pieces in a baggie. So far, yes I would recommend.
