Works well! No big concerns.
Works great! Small footprint. I hooked up the hose from the upper drain port into a clear 1-gallon juice jug (NOT plastic milk cartons; those are meant to disintegrate & WILL leak). And other reviewers were correct in that the vent fins don't stay open, but I taped them open with white duct tape I already had & you can barely notice (see photo). I would recommend security rods (not tension-spring shower curtain ones, but locking pin ones with feet to adjust to under 1") for window security (I will review those soon as well). My bedroom is always hotter in the summer than the rest of my house as my bathroom sticks out & has 3 walls in the southern sun (east, south, & west) that heats it up. I even had more insulation blown into the attic to no avail. Due to medical issues, I need a cooler bedroom, & the ceiling fan & tower fan were NOT cutting it. This thing gets FRIGID fast! Just set the temperature while in "cool" mode, and it circulates on/off to maintain that temperature. As a lower-priced model, many others in this price range don't have a thermostat to cycle it to your desired temperature other than "high/low" settings, so that's why I chose this model. Dehumidifier & fan only modes are not set by the thermostat, and you may select the temperature to be in either F⁰ or C⁰. There's also a sleep mode & timer, which i have yet to use either. I bought this on the tail-end of summer, so I intend to use it next year as well. I would also recommend taping all the way around the window kit for drafts with duct tape on the edges, seams, & hose connection. My window was a bit too narrow to use the full inner sliding part without blocking half of the hose exhaust opening, but it took just a couple minutes to easily saw off those few inches of it & it worked like a charm for a custom fit with plenty more expandable. I will probably disconnect & store everything for the winter, but it wasn't difficult to install (I've owned larger units like this with an intake & an exhaust hose). I would say it isn't much louder than a microwave & provides good white noise, but it is far from whisper quiet. It is what I pretty much expected. *UPDATE* In the past 24 hours, I have dumped about 2.75 gallons of water out with it in dehumidifier mode. Definitely gonna need a bigger container than a 1 gallon one for overnights if I'm dumping out a gallon every 6 hours or so.

Great value
Great value and works as intended. Very cold air. Perfect for smaller spaces.

Powerful and cools quickly.
It's one powerful unit. Made a difference very quickly. People claim it leaks, if you don't empty the tank occasionally it'll leak because it's designed to be manually drained. So yeah if you let it over fill it will leak. It's easy to move around, easy to drain on your own into the bath tub when the tank is full and was easy to hook up too. My only real complaint is the blinds on the front, that changes the direction the air flows only goes up or down and I had to tape it open in order for it to stay open. Other wise this was worth it's cheaper price and I'm planning on getting one for my mother's room too.

noisy but cools nicely...has remote...has lower and middle drain ports; drain hose too short
Very noisy but does cool nicely. I had to attach the hose to the middle section to allow it to drain...often high humidity so it drains about an empty litter bucket's worth of water daily...and that's where the hose is... in an empty litter bucket which we must empty daily. Unfortunately the drain hose is less than 2 ft in length...looking for a 6 ft hose that fits so I can route the drain water outside the same window where the unit's hot air is vented. It has an easy to remove air filter on the side, and if you have pets, plan on cleaning that filter about every 3 to 4 days..as well as clean pet hair off the lower back and right side. However, my wife and I have found this to be more reliable than a window air conditioner (when it comes to having pets)... this unit is on our formerly screened front porch which was enclosed...and that room really needed cooling as our pets have preferred that room. I bought this on sale for just over $185....such a steal for a great portable air conditioner

Great value for the money
Works great especially for the price. I saw swamp coolers for more. I put it in a hot work out room at the other side of the house. Its always 82 in the Texas heat. Now it gets as low as 71 degrees with the humidity removed. It does s good job.

Works better than expected
I've had this portable AC for a week now and it's cooling my 128sqft bedroom well. I honestly didn't expect it to do much based on the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to keep my 2nd floor bedroom around 70-73°F when it was 89°F outside (98°F inside bedroom without AC). It begins cooling the room quickly after it is turned on. The unit itself stays pretty cool to the touch and I got an exhaust hose wrap to combat the heat from there. I have no issues draining the unit and the filter is easy to clean. The unit isn't overly noisy, it's about as loud as most other portable ACs in my opinion. It's a nice size and I like the ease of the remote control. Setup and install was quick and easy. This is a great option for those on a budget and I have already recommended it to others as it works better than expected. Update: I have had this AC for almost 2 weeks now. The vent flaps are slowly starting to fall over the course of the day, so I placed a wedge under the bottom flap to hold the vent open. The compressor makes a bit more noise than it did the first week, but it's still not terrible. I did have to clean the back with a small air compressor because the slats on the back were gathering dust and pet hair pretty quickly. There is an air bypass up by the intake filter where air is being pulled through with no screen filter in front of it so not all the air it's pulling in is being filtered causing a buildup of dust and pet hair. Will update again if anything else comes up. Update: I've had the air conditioner for about a month now. It has gotten quite a bit louder, especially when it cycles. I have to turn it off and give it multiple breaks throughout the day for it to continue to blow cool air. Every so often a single water drop will blow out the vent and land on me but that only happens 2-3 times a day. It is still worth the price I paid for it ($161), but I would not pay more than that for it as I dont believe it is worth more than that. Will update if unit gets worse or just ceases to run anymore.

Very good buy
Does not go lower than 62 degrees. However, it cools down my living room very well. Love the fact that it sits on wheels. Moderately quiet. The window adapter does not fit all windows.
