Excellent product!
I wanted to hold off doing this review until I had a couple hatch outs with my incubator. I can't suggest this candler enough. This light is a great price and perfect size to keep next to the incubator. It feels very well made and durable and it's brightness options are perfect for use. I was able to track my egg development and easily see which eggs were failed and when they stopped developing.I've already suggested this model to my father and would suggest it to others.

You need this when your hatching your own!
The media could not be loaded. Its a must have if your hatching! Super easy to use,Simple charger arrived on time great instructions!

So bright
This light is amazing ! Very sturdy and durable .Easy to place the battery directions come with it very simple to use and I saw all my babies the whole way up to they hatched!!! It was definitely worth the money ! I recommend this to all my family and friends

First batch of eggs, first time learning about candling.
I was hoping for more info on candling with the tool, but it was easy and beneficial to look up all the info I craved on google. I learned some good cautionary info about excessive candling and I lost 3 out of 14 fertile eggs, and I think it was my fault on at least two of the losses. I love my chickies and candling them made them so much more real, being able to see them form, grow and start moving. The first time I heard an egg chirp I was in love. I am sitting in my living room with three huge cages and my 11 babies all squirming and chirping. Wait til spring to incubate. Robyn Harter

This candler does not work well at all and gets very hot while candling.
This candler is not strong at all. I cannot see through darker brown eggs or greenish eggs. This works no better than my flashlight. Plus, it gets very hot holding it if you have it on for a short period of time. Don't waste your money or time on this candler.

Need setup instructions
The light is bright and the unit is very portable. I do not like that all the pieces of lighting end fell apart when unscrewing the cap. The battery charger shows full battery even without the battery on the charger, so that's confusing. There are no instructions for use or setup. I was about to return the product because I could not get it to work, when I noticed a little white circle on the end of the battery. I picked at it and it came off. I put the battery back into the unit and it worked.
