Q: Does it come with the picatinny mount .

Mine did not come with a mount either. On top of that Amazon customer service refused to ship me out the mount that Caldwell also manufactures. Unbelievable.

Q: Can you adjust the position of the mount on the catcher frame forwards or backwards depending on what rail slots are open on the top?

you can tighten the screw just enough to hold it sill and so it still slides back and forth and use it on several different riflesI have one mount on my DPMS AR-15, one on my Savage A17 17Hmr and one on my S&W M&P 15-22 22LRalso have a couple mounts on my bolt action Savage axis rifles so I do not have to look for brass after I eject themas long as you have a full Picanny/ weaver mount on your rifle under the scope somewhere you can just about put them on anythinggot to add. if you have a AR-15 with a high 1" riser and medium rings the metal frame does not hang low enough to clear the ejection port dust cover, I had to bend the metal frame on the lower side to make it fite-mailed caldwell about that problem but now reply yet

Great stuff! I got extras to leave mounted on a weapon, so I just move the brass catcher bag from weapon to weapon as I shoot them.
