Wow, I will buy this again next year! Summer 2025 I topped off an old 3x5 or maybe 4x6 foot flower bed with bagged organic potting soil then sprinkled in the entire bag of seeds, and roughed up the soil a bit so they would take hold. I waited and waited and was anticipating the cosmos as I had not grown any from seed in a long time. It took a little while but suddenly there they all were sprouting up and the next thing I knew I had a nice size flower bed full of white, bright pink, and pale pink, beautiful flowers. Again, I will purchase these for 2026 as well.

I bought 4 different seed products including this one, to experiment with a meadow. It was 90 degrees and very sunny every day in Philadelphia, PA USA. I had an ideal location, in dollar-store bins that got the morning sun for 3 hours. I put 4 inches of crappy but mixed soil in, sprinkled the seeds, and stirred lightly with my finger, and dusted with very little additional soil. I watered them every morning and evening, keeping top moist. I marked all 4 types with the date, July 21 and the expected germination time (7-21 days, not sure on this one). Amazingly there were seedlings the next day, and not just specks, but maybe 1/2" tall! Surely my conditions must have been ideal. The attached photo is NOT from July 21 but after a full week.
