I am an experienced developer associated with code for last 20 years. Reading a book like this is a deja-vu in many sense. It is tantalising experience as the pages turn in this book. The most I liked about this book is the simplicity and usage of language. It communicates in easy to follow yet coveys what matters most to me in my professional life. Also the way the each topic is capsuled makes the reading experience smooth. There is lot to reflect by reading this book. It does not matter what is your experience, this book will lay foundational aspects of engineering within you.

Useful tips that you need to adopt early in your career as a Software Engineer. Still useful if you are an experienced Engineer. If I can give a free tip, create a summary about the important topics, it will help you to remember those topics.

In slechts een paar hoofdstukken heb ik mijzelf naar een nieuw niveau getild. De handvatten die het boek aanreikt zijn duidelijk geschreven door twee personen die al tientallen jaren in het vak zitten. De voorbeelden zeer herkenbaar en duidelijk uitgelegd. Dit boek is een combinatie van humor, openbaringen en nieuwe inzichten. Maar, voor je dit boek besteld, wees wel gewaarschuwd: het Engelse grammatica dat hier gebruikt wordt is absoluut niet makkelijk. Als je Engels niet op een proficient level is, mijdt dit boek dan - evenals wanneer je dyslectisch bent.
