Can this be used with UV gel topcoat for nails without any cracking?

Nail tech here. Regular or gel nail polish is used for nails. Acrylic nails are made from acrylic powder. This product is for crafts.

If the gloss paint is not available, what product do you recommend to paint over these AB matte paints to give a gloss effect (w/out yellowing)?

The Mod Podge Spray sealer 1470 would work for this application.

does it work on pumpkins?

Yes You can use Apple Paints on pumpkins. Please no t you will have to spray with a sealer if Pumpkins will be placed out in the elements.
