I got this and was worried I’d hate it because of some of the reviews. A good amount of Naturium products have 4.5+ reviews, so for this to fall below that was worrisome. I’m glad I went for it, I love it. A little goes a long way too. No need to treat this like lotion, it’s definitely a serum. I’m not sure if many of the reviewers complaining about its stickiness have had a history with Urea lotions. I have KP and have been advised by dermatologists to use Urea lotions to help get rid of it. Most of those urea lotions are thick and very, very sticky. No matter how little you use, it’s a sticky mess and does not absorb. That’s urea for ya. Clothes stick, your sheets stick, it really sucks. I hate that feeling and just have never found a solution to my KP. Acid body washes help, but it’s that hydration factor that really helps it go away. This serum doesn’t stick like those lotions at all. Like not even close. Yes it’s stickier than a regular moisturizing lotion, but for Urea, this is great. I tried it alone, layered with their retinol lotion, and just the retinol lotion on different sections of my body on the same day. The layered route was way more hydrating. Just the serum, was still hydrating and silky feeling hours after application. Just retinol lotion, absorbed to the point where my skin feels good but I don’t feel that extra hydration I’m really looking for during the winter months. Also, this drives me crazy with reviews of fragrance free products. Fragrance free doesn’t mean the product has no smell. It just means that they didn’t add perfume aka fragrance to it. Certain ingredients have a their smell like salicylic acid or glycolic acid for example. There’s going to be a weird chemical odor to the product. That’s not fragrance. That natural smell is usually why some companies add fragrance is to mask those smells. But yeah, fragrance free will have a smell no matter what. Ok, vent over.

After using this for a week, I was laying on my couch and started noticing some dead skin slufing off my legs. I continued rubbing my legs, and it was like an entire layer of my skin on my legs came off leaving me with buttery smooth skin. It only happened once and after finishing the bottle my skin has continued to be nice and smooth. I definitely will buy this again and again. Great value for money. No scent which is important to me. It also has a very moisturizing serum-like consistency which makes it feel extra luxurious.

Packed with skin-loving ingredients like urea, glycerin, and amino acids, this body serum leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated. I layer it under my Naturium moisturizer, and the results have been amazing—my skin has never felt better. As a mature woman, I consider this a true game-changer in my body care routine. The bottle is a nice size so will last a while. A little pricier than I might normally spend but worth every penny. The serum consistency is thick, but absorbs quickly and is not sticky

Things to note about me when reading this review and considering purchasing. 1. I'm a melanated woman 2. I use this product only at night 3. I use this product in conjunction with a body oil. I use it first and then use the body oil over it. 4. I'm in my mid to late 30s 5. My goal for this serum is to help retain moisture and softness. 6. In the AM, I use Moisturizer that contains ceramides and other beneficial ingredients for the skin 7. I use sunscreen and reapply when appropriate. Stickiness: The other reviews are right, it does leave you sticky. I may have used too much. The first time I used it, I didn't feel sticky; it felt fine. I will test my theory and report back. Value for money: It's a decent-sized bottle, and if used moderately, I think it will last long enough. Scent: The Naturium website states that this product contains no fragrance. This product is odorless. (Side note, this is not all the Naturium products, so if you like this line and are looking at other products in this line, and have a fragrance allergy or sensitivity. I would highly recommend you look at the ingredients because some of their products are scented.) Moisturizing: Being that I use this in conjunction with a body oil, I have little thought on how moisturizing this is as a stand-alone product. That being said, the first time I used this with my body oil my skin did feel very soft.

This is unscented so if you are sensitive to fragrance you will like this. It’s a serum but feel amazing on the skin and absorbs quickly. I would use this alone in the summer but for winter I follow up with a thicker moisturizer after. I’ll be being in bulk so I never run out.
