I figured white would stay the coolest with the sun beating in on my arms while driving. I have had skin cancer a few times, so I need to be really careful! I am 5โ7โ and have longer-than-usual arms and these fit great, length wise. However, they were a little snug because I am not thin. They were especially tight on my upper arms, but mostly at the top band, which cut into my arm a little too much. If they had fit my arms, the band at the top would have been very nice. They are a very nice quality and feel cool enough; I just wish that the top band had been a little less tight or that they came in different sizes. Review: Recommend - Fit well, comfortable. The first time I wore the sleeves I was sitting in the sun for a 4 hour football game. No sunburn. Not sure about cooling factor since heat index was over 100 degrees but wore them comfortably the entire time.

Awesome for long rides in the sun
Wore these daily on a 6-day bicycle tour in direct sun, temperatures ranging from cool to blisteringly hot. They were a godsend! When you slip them on, your arms feel immediately cooler, even indoors. They wick sweat effectively while keeping the sun off your arms. Better than sunscreen, even if you do have to give them a light wash each night.
