Bought these for my girls who have thick hair. They look very pretty and are secure, last the whole day of playing. Clip is a good length, not too big not too small. Clip quality is great and comfortable, as they have never complained about it pulling or hurting. Only thing I will say is that using these clips for thick hair has its challenges. you will be using less hair in the clip, and it’s only for half ups. Which works fine with us.

I have such a hard time finding barrettes that don't fall out of my hair. It's so frustrating ordering them and it's expensive these days only to find out that they don't stay in my hair even though they claim to. These definitely stay in my hair.Whether i'm putting part of my hair up or all of it. And i'm not worried about them pulling my hair out either period very comfortable and great value

I have worn the 4 inch version of these classic Goody barrettes for several decades. The 4 inch ones have been the only barrettes that hold my hair comfortably without pulling it. I have been looking for more of the 4 inch ones for 20 years without success. I am down to my last one of the ones that I have had forever. When I saw these I bought them right away thinking they were those. I was disappointed to see they are only 2 inches. I will still use them, but my hair is too thick to use them the way I have the others. The metallic curved 4 inch ones I hate. They are hard to use and are uncomfortable. Goody please bring back the 4 inch ones like these! The color variety in the previous ones was nice also.

These are fantastic for thick hair. They really hold in place. I have both thick hair and a lot of hair which in some ways is wonderful, in some ways a pain, but these cute barrettes out there just aren't made for my hair and will not hold it. These are tried and true and I've used them for years. That is the other thing, they last for years. I usually only have to replace them because I've lost them, or more likely, one of my cats has stolen one or both of them and they have disappeared. They are easy to use and very comfortable for all day wear.

These may be well-made and sturdy, but if you have trouble with your fingers/hands/dexterity, these are not for you! They are not for me! I threw them in the trash!

These are metal barrettes, they are very durable and hold up for years! I love this for only pulling back ½ my hair to keep it out of my face. Easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Check the size before buying ; size is smaller than expected and too thin clips , than shown in pic

Though Goody/Barrette is a bit expensive but they always produced good quality. I loved what I bought
