Good for filtering liquids to get things out to protect pumps and other things that you don't want abrasive things to be going through

These sieves are awesome. I bought 15 different sizes, from 12 mesh to 2400 mesh. The mesh is well made with openings that are consistent. There are no out of place wires that I can see. The frames are excellent and finished close to a mirror surface. Mesh is stretched tight and mounted such that there is no way for product to bypass. Each one is clearly labeled with the mesh size. I had to use the supplied chart to write the micron opening size on each one.

Using it to sift home ground flours. It's perfect for very fine flour and it removes the larger unground bran and germ particles which negatively impacts the bread rise.
