Living in a condo with a range hood that can't vent outside used to be a real nightmare – even frying eggs would fumigate the whole apartment! This filter has been an absolute life-saver for us. It dramatically reduces the smell and smoke, preventing it from spreading into our bedrooms, which is a massive improvement for our air quality. What's also fantastic is how easy it was to cut this filter to the perfect size for our hood. The material feels strong and good quality, and it functions exceptionally well. Less expensive than constantly buying new pre-cut filters, and the convenience of being able to trim it to whatever size you need is a huge plus, especially with older, non-standard hoods. I couldn't find filters for my CPAP machine (out of stock). I used this . 10cm X 10cm piece with 2 rubber bands. it worked for me. try under your own risk because it is medical equipment.
