Expensive for a small adaptor but worth the price.
It's Røde and it works with my Røde microphone so I record sound on my Galaxy S8, which has much better sound recording capabilities than my Canon 70D. Unlike many other international companies, such as Samsung, Røde does not produce inferior products for the Indian market and issues a Global guarantee so I can also take this product to a shop in Sweden and have it replaced if I have a problem with it.

Working excellent with my go pro Hero 8😍
I'm a Moto Vlogger and I faced many problems cause I was not getting a TRS 3.5 mm microphone so i ordered this for my GoPro Hero 8, first of all I was little confuse to buy this thing or not cause the price was very high but when it delivered to me. I used this with my GoPro Hero 8 with media mod and lavellier external mic. It was working awesome. I'm in love😍 with this product...but keep in mind the TRS adapter has very thin wire so be careful with that...if you are buying this for GoPro Hero 8 and media mod then go for it.........,

Overpriced.. 1100 bucks for this weak product
1100 bucks just for this weak product is too much. Just because there is no other alternative (this is the only product to convert TRS - TRRS;aux cables wont work). I bought this to mount gopro on my helmet and connect it to the media mod. It works fine. But, the cable is fragile. Take extra care of it and it would be fine. Did not face any issue in sound quality.

I bought it to use with the Rode Lavalier microphone for use with DSLRs. It works perfectly fine and this has to be used with the mic. Meaning if you use an extension chord to connect the Rode mic to the camera or recorder, you plug the mic to female port of this adaptor and you plug the male portion of this adaptor to the extension chord. Thus the tiny wire length of this item does not matter much. The chord is thin & doesnt ooze confidence but works like a charm if you take care of it. Must have item if you buy a collar mic (esp. the Rode smart lav)

I bought this to use a lapel mic for my GoPro. I been using it for about a year and works well and have not had a single issue.
