As long as you get the right size, it'll fit. I just got the size that was on my bike. They're awesome tires.

Yes, you can use a tube with this tire. I have tubes with mine. Tire grips well, wet or dry. It has shown no signs of wear after a full season of riding. I'm pleased with the tire.

Great tires for drz400sm

Great tires for my drz400sm. Excellent grip even in wet conditions. I think I'll get at least 5,000 miles out of the rear tire obviously more out of the front. Great choice and cheaper than any Dunlop and just as good if not better.
