first say Sorry my english not very good. Women or if men are under 185 tall they just to get small size . I bought big size for my man because his hands are very big . he is 185 tall.

If I understand the question they are made like any clipper is just larger and the handle is larger and smoother to use. They can do the larger nails easier. But the cutting edge is still just like all clippers.
