Powerful and Efficient – Exceeded Expectations! I’ve been using the Gatsby dual-hose portable AC for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. It cools my room (around 300 sq ft) in minutes, and the dual-hose setup really makes a difference — faster cooling and better airflow compared to single-hose units. The build quality feels solid, and setup was super easy. No tools, no hassle — just plug it in and attach the hoses to the window kit. I also love that it’s easy to move between rooms thanks to the wheels. Noise level is surprisingly low for how powerful it is. I can sleep and work without distractions. If you’re looking for a reliable and effective AC unit, this one’s a winner. Definitely worth the price!

This item is shipped from the USA by supplier based in Hong Kong who don’t speak English. This unit did not work and it took me nearly a month and having to escalate this to Amazon before a credit was granted. It’s extremely hard trying to explain the issue to people who don’t speak English plus they did not want to issue me a means to return the faulty product and the supplier would not refund me unless the product was returned. Avoid unless you are in the USA and are fluent in Google Chinese

Shipping was very secure and packaging was not compromised. Instructions to assemble and to use different modes were easy to understand. The only minor issue I had (as others) was the window bracket to connect your hoses to. Helpful hint: For those whose windows have a bottom frame that rises about an inch, you'll have to add a slim makeshift platform that your window bracket can set on. My 1"×1"× width (h x d x w) makeshift platform consisted of dense modular foam from HD. The reason for this is pictured for better explanation. The weatherstrips and foam strips helped prevent any leaks. If this portable ac unit is for temporary usage, then know the adhesive on the weather strips won't remove so easily. They do the job by staying on, but keep in mind that the cleanup will require some elbow grease. Over all, this unit provided the relief I needed as I shopped for deals on replacing my central air system. For a unit that was supposed to cool about 500 sq ft, it was able to keep 1500 sq ft at an acceptable temperature with an extra fan that helped circulate the cool air during several 100° days. It stayed on 24/7 for almost 18 days. The nice thing, was not worrying about draining it since the humidity was low. Well worth the money.

This air conditioner does an amazingly good job in my bedroom, and uses way less energy doing it. My old dual hose was a power hog, and this has cut the usage from about 15amps to less than 9amps. I hooked a hose to the top to drain into a bucket because it also does an excellent job dehumidifying, and with how humid and hot it has been, this has been a life saver as well. Setup was rather easy, cleaning the filter is rather easy, and operation is very simple. It also has a great extra-cooling mode, and that does work well. The unit is pretty heavy, but the wheels do fine on flat surfaces. What a good air conditioner!

The Gasbye Dual-Hose Portable Air Conditioner works extremely well. It distributes cool air evenly and cools my room very quickly. At approximately 65 pounds, it is also not too heavy, which is fantastic for a portable unit. My main reason for recommending this model is the dual-hose system. This feature was especially important to me because my previous Midea Duo air conditioner had issues with the hose attachments and clips breaking. With the Gasbye unit, each hose attaches separately, making them easier to manage, extend, and replace. Replacement parts should also be easier and less expensive to obtain. The clips don't break easily Customer service responded quickly when I emailed them, and my experience has been very positive. After using the unit, I understand why it has received so many excellent reviews. It offers a fantastic price, reasonable energy costs, and powerful cooling. My room feels amazing during the summer. I highly recommend this model.
