IT WORKS GREAT!!
Did just what others suggested....reversed the polarity of the wires to make it work in my LL Bean solar radio. WORKS BETTER THAN IT EVER HAS!

I haven't thoroughly tested it, but I did have to reverse the leads in the connector to match the leads in the device. It is being used in an 'emergency solar radio/flashlight'.

Battery was not satisfactory as the red and black wires were not in correct position. Had to return for credit.

After posting a negative rating and comment I read other customer reviews. Multiple people said the wires were reversed in the battery plug and needed to be switched. After I did that the battery is now working as expected...giving it a 4 star because of the wire issue.

battery seems fine connector is no good
Connector or wire was bad on the unit I received. DID NOT WORK. Would not buy again. Given the cost it was not worth the effort of returning.

You just have to reverse the wires. To do this, push a sharp object into the slot at the side of the connector and pull on the wire at the same time. Once you have both out, just push them back into the opposite slot.
