Texture smooths on nicely (but may not take the place of your morning moisturizer) melting right into your skin without leaving any white or reside behind. It contains a powerhouse of antioxidants to support free radical damage combined with a perfect outdoor SPF protection. It does not irritate my sensitive skin but I do need to apply a good moisturizer underneath. It appears to be just a bit drying when not layered with a good morning moisturizer. I love this product and it is now my go to broad-spectrum sunblock when spending any amount of time outdoors! I would use it daily but it's a bit expensive for daily use unless you need the SPF of 50. Review: Literally the Best Sunscreen I've Ever Tried. - At this point I've used several brands of sunscreen, some cheap and some expensive, and this is the first that I haven't immediately wanted to wash off my face. It's not greasy or heavy, it dries down to look like normal skin, it doesn't leave a horrendous white cast, and it doesn't sting my skin or break me out. I can't say enough good things about this product -- I think I've found an all time favorite! The only con is that it's not very moisturizing, so you do need to use your regular moisturizer under it, but other than that it's absolutely perfect. If you have sensitive skin that can't handle chemical sunscreens and you're looking for a physical SPF that doesn't look like clown makeup, look no further. Definitely will be repurchasing!

Best Physical Sunscreen for Face
This is the best physical sunscreen I have tried so far. Many people are claiming that it has no white cast, but it does have a whitish/purplish cast on my skin with how I use it. I have NC35ish skin and apply as much sunscreen as possible (because it's pretty much impossible to reach the 1/4th teaspoon for me). I'm sure chemical-based or a mix of chemical and physical sunscreens would do better with the cast, but I (and many others) cannot use chemical sunscreen on my face as it would break me out in a rash. This product is greasy when applied but miles better compared to other physical sunscreens. It dries to a matte look after a few minutes but stays sticky when touched. So, is this the perfect sunscreen? Probably not. But so far, it's as good as it gets. Bonus: If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, I would suggest: Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen SPF 50 Tinted Face Mineral Lotion, 3 Fl Oz . Definitely not as good as this in my opinion but more affordable for daily use.

A good sunscreen, but not what I was expecting from this brand.
I think the company changed the formula for this sunscreen. I bought it a few years back, and it was a lot different. This one went on kind of chalky, and did not feel smooth, or luminous. It is kind of thick. I’m sure it does its job, it is still sunscreen after all, but it just was not what I was hoping for from this brand. Maybe I should’ve given it a second chance, I am not sure about it though.

Moisty mineral based sunscreen
Sunscreen is very good for a mineral based (zinc oxide) type. Is moist, absorbs quickly and leaves sort of a moisty skin. My particular makeup breaks on top of this suncreen and If I reapply it to often (6 times a day) starts driying the skin and can break leaving yellowish tones (my skin tends to dry naturally during the day). I didn’t like the smell, is like bad medicine, but for the benefits and quality is ok. I do think is a great sunscreen for applying daily and on vacations, but not for makeup. This sunscreen is very good for a mineral based, and gives great spf +50, the only con would be the price, since is a bit expensive.

Doesn't burn or look weird - and it really works!
I love that this sunscreen is so lightweight, it blends into my skin without leaving a weird cast or a greasy finish. It also doesn't drip into my eyes and burn them like some other sunscreens I've tried. Most importantly though it really works - I've been using it for several months but I don't spend more than a few minutes a day outside (I live in a brutally hot and humid climate) so I was never sure if really worked. Then last weekend I spent two days at an amusement park, walking in the sun for about 16 hours total. I didn't wear a hat so my scalp was sunburned as was a thin line along my hairline at my forehead where I missed applying sunscreen, but the rest of my face wasn't burned at all! I applied the sunscreen once in the morning and then once again midday. The bottle is small, which is bad because it's expensive, but was handy for carrying with me on the go.

Comfortable to wear, dries down, sheer matte finish
I’ve tried so many fragrance free physical sunscreens in the past few months, and they all made me want to scrub my face clean after 15 minutes. They are itchy, heavy, greasy, never dry down, and most importantly make me break out. This one and the Mychelle spf 50 liquid Sunshield are the only ones I’ve found that finish matte, non sticky and wear comfortably, and this one doesn’t break me out so far. I’m using the recommended 1/4 tsp, usually applied in two layers, over moisturizer. I have medium skin and there’s no white cast for my skin, but it does seem to make foundation look a little lighter in color and more difficult to blend, and feels a little drying toward the end of the day, so a tinted moisturizer or dewy serum foundation is probably the ideal choice for makeup if you have dry skin.

Love the ingredients, dissapointed with the product
I believe most of the reviews for this product are actually reviews of the original Replenix sunscreen in the gray and green bottle. Which I absolutely loved, but can longer find. So I was quite happy when I ran across this version with nearly the same ingredients except in a cream form. Immediately when I squeezed the tube I did not like the thickness of the cream. And after rubbing it in and giving it several hours it still left my face with a white film like residue. Not to mention the very small tube for the high price, totally not worth it in my book. PLEASE bring back the original in the grey and green spray bottle, that one was perfect. It was more of a lightweight liquid and truly rubbed in smooth with zero.

Great product. I have very sensitive and dry skin and this product leaves white flakes on my skin just after application. Otherwise, its great!
