Dicor 551LSW-1 HAPS-Free NON-Leveling Lap Sealant - 10.3 Oz, White, Secure, Ideal for RV Roofing, Maintenance, Repair, Appliance Application

This is one of those “buy it every year without even thinking about it” products—and for good reason. My boyfriend swears by this non-leveling sealant for the camper, and at this point I trust it purely based on his loyalty alone. If something keeps making it back into the cart year after year, you know it’s doing its job. We haven’t used this specific tube yet, but past experience says it holds up, does what it’s supposed to do, and saves us from bigger headaches down the road. Five stars for consistency, reliability, and for keeping the camper in one (non-leaky) pieve.

I used this to seal my replacement TV and Cellular antennas to my RV roof, and it works perfectly! Don't be stingy when you lay your bead down. Make sure it's thick and wide before you press your project into it. Then cover the top of the mounting flange with this stuff before packing up your looks. We just had biblical level rains here and my ceilings are dry.

Despite the inaccurate words used in the product title, Dicor 551LSB *Non-Sag* - *Non-Self-Leveling* sealant is the only black colored non-sag sealant that's compatible with EPDM, TPO and PVC roof membranes, at least as far as my research could find. I needed to replace a plastic gutter spout that is fastened behind the gutter/rail that holds the roof membrane in place as it turns over the horizontal edge onto the vertical wall. I needed: -non-sag, as it is applied to a vertical surface -black color, to match the existing gutter & spout & existing butyl tape & sealant -compatible with PVC roof membrane, aluminum gutter rail, fiberglass wall I contacted 4 of the major manufacturers of RV sealants--Dicor, Geocel (ProFlex), Sika and LaSalle Bristol. All 4 responded, but only Dicor's product is compatible with PVC along with EPDM & TPO. The sealant is a bit fussy to work with. It skins over very quickly; you've got maybe 2 minutes to work with the surface before it begins to skin over, and I was working in a cool, shady area. However, once it skins over the sealant takes 2 days to really begin to feel solid. The Dicor product data shows the following for cure times: -5 Minutes – Skins over (I'd say that's very generous!) -4 Hours – Waterproof -48 Hours – Cure 80% -30 Days – 100% Cure It has a very flat appearance once cured--matte, not glossy--and it has a very slight tendency to sag on vertical surfaces, nothing really objectionable and it helps to reduce high spots without having to tool the surface.

Works very well for patio and driveway cracks. I covered gaps up to about 3/4 inch (filled with backer rod first) and this works great. It's held up well through one Colorado summer and winter. I would recommend this product.

This is a quality product that applies smoothly and does not set up immediately, allowing time to tool the bead as needed. Product sticks to my RV materials (metal siding, plastic skylights, rubberized roof).

Great stuff for camper roof. Just make sure to use above 60° F and preferably sunny. Will self level much better under these conditions.

Great product very easy to apply...I left the tub sit out in the sun for a bit before sealing up my RV gutter spouts. Product flowed out greate no mess..A++

This is probably the universal standard for RV’s.I have used it a lot both sag & non sag.Works well when applied correctly.

I bought both the self levelling and non sag versions. The self levelling worked great on the flat surfaces. The non sag, when used along the drip edge of the roof, ran significantly and made quite a mess. I installed at about 20 degrees Celsius, but maybe it should be installed in cooler temps. Id likely find a better solution for the vertical and transition edges next season.
