i wear them with sandals and never got wet. i walk through wet grass from morning dew and have worn them in the rain.

Good quality, sturdy and helpful keep feet dry and warm unless the water runs down your legs when wearing shorts, however dont think its a negative, it would be very hard if not impossible to prevent water getting in that way and still have comfort Im a professional dog walker and im out in all weather, 1 winter in them under my belt and they definitely made it more bareable!

Keep your feet warm and dry. They are so soft and snug with the stretch. The quality surpassed my expectations. A must have for winter.

I'm actually really really happy with this product. I bought them for a trip to the scottish highlands. I knew I'd encounter a lot of wet land, but since I live in a dry climate I didn't want to buy waterproof shoes just for this trip. I decided to do the whole trip with my non-waterproof hiking boots, and these waterproof socks. My feet stayed bone dry crossing streams and very wet land! The only thing to be aware of is that you'll still feel the coldness of the water on your feet, but they absolutely work to keep your feet dry.
