This stuff is great when you are pressed for time and can't make a fresh meal for your pets. It has great value for the money and the ingredients are fresh. The smell is great and all of our exotic animals loved it from the sugar gliders to the birds. You can either feed it freeze-dried or you can put some water in it and bring it back to life they seem to love it either way. I poured some of it dried into my pellets for my bird and they also enjoyed that
