My go-to healthy cooking oil — every kitchen needs this!
I absolutely love this coconut oil and use it as the only oil I cook with, because I’ve struggled to find oils that I feel are truly healthy — most others just don’t make the cut for me. What I especially appreciate about this one is that it’s organic and sourced from a family-oriented brand, which makes me feel GREAT about using it in all my meals. This oil is naturally rich in MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides), a type of fat that the body can quickly use for energy rather than storing it the same way other fats are stored — meaning it supports metabolism and provides a clean source of energy compared to typical long-chain fats.I use it for sautéing, baking, frying — you name it — and I love that it’s unflavored and unscented so it doesn’t interfere with the taste of my food. It’s also non-GMO, gluten-free, hexane-free, and free of trans fats, which aligns with my commitment to eating better. A healthy staple that consistently delivers quality every time!If you’re looking for a reliable, clean, versatile cooking oil that aligns with a health-focused lifestyle, this one’s a winner in my book. 🍳🥥

Many health benefits, the tasteless version can be used for most cooking that does not call for deep frying temperatures.
I had been diagnosed as pre-diabetic at my check-up three months ago. I was told to cut back on sugars, white bread, rice, cookies and candy or risk a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. I bought one of those blood sugar test kits on Amazon, and started checking my numbers. In addition, I began to read about foods and other supplements that could help. There was a good deal of info on coconut oil and water. I cook a lot for myself and I typically use peanut oil for it's high smoke point (450 degrees F), Coconut oil has a smoke point of 350 degrees F, but unless you're deep frying this is fine for grilling fish, making popcorn or baking. This particular oil is tasteless so it has a lot of applications that call for oil (pancakes, waffles, corn bread, mayonnaise, salad dressing) and you won't get a weird taste. They make this in flavors too, garlic, rosemary, etc.but I prefer the tasteless.Since the smoke points are the same, this works as blend with un-clarified butter as a popcorn popping mixture, I remember hearing about 20 years ago that a large popcorn in movie theaters popped with coconut oil contained the saturated fat of six Big Macs. A chilling thought for regular movie goers, and the backlash caused many theaters to start using canola oil or sunflower oil to make the popcorn. Despite the difference in taste, it seems they went to a less healthy oil in the long run. Coconut oil while being heavily saturated than some oils has more of a healing quality than if you say used beef tallow or lard. Just another sensational media scare that in essence made us eat less healthy that what we used to do. Getting back to the taste, when blended with butter popcorn develops this rich taste that made theater popcorn so good.Besides making popcorn on the stove, my lunches at work were typically a sandwich and a cup of Progresso vegetable beef, chicken noodle, or just vegetable soup. I found I could stir in a full ounce of coconut oil and it made the soups richer without changing the taste. I started using this oil regularly for a month or so. A few weeks ago I went in for my blood work, and then last week for my check-up. Since I still ate too many starches, potatoes and such, and the occasional pizza, I was worried about the results. I was surprised to hear that my blood sugar was well back in the normal range. While I'd cut down on some bad foods, I really hadn't done everything I could, so I give credit to the coconut oil for helping me get back to normal. If you look around on various websites including Carrington Farms they list numerous benefits for coconut oil for killing disease in the body, to topical fungus cures outside, to skin care, hair care, weight loss and many more. Despite the amount of saturated fat it appears to have little effect on cholesterol or weight gain. One of the other reviewers mentioned some thyroid benefits, I take the same prescription as him, and that part of my blood work was called out as very good by my Physician as well, it could just be the medication, but maybe the coconut oil had a small effect there as well. I recommend this product highly based on my experiences with it. I've bought several bottles, and use it regularly in my cooking. The Zon has a particularly good price on this brand and offers it on a subscription for even less, so give it a try and see what I mean.

Love this stuff
This stuff has so many great uses.I initially started buying a lot of this stuff as I run a small occult supply business and unscented fractionated coconut oil makes a fantastic carrier oil for herbs, and coconut oil is decently shelf stable. You can also use it to make flavored oils to enhance a dish as it doesn't have a coconut smell or aftertaste.I often find myself using it to cook with as I usually had some on hand, and coconut oil is much better for you than cooking/frying with vegetable/canola oil. It's also reasonably low on the comodogenic scale, so in a pinch it can be used on skin as a moisturizer, and for hair oil too.I've also been eyeing it recently as I'm often low on funds and like to do a double cleanse face routine....a lot of popular oil cleansers are well, just oil, and while i believe the fractionated doesn't have quite the same health benefits as raw coconut oil, i have been thinking, "i bet i could do a quick oil cleanse with that..." same with people who talk about "oil pulling" for dental health, which I haven't tried, but considering how bad my teeth are getting well...again I keep eyeing it....I've also always just liked the Carrington farms brand. It has a great price point, is covered by EBT, and apparently is a very eco-friendly brand that's widely available. Lately I have considered using more solid coconut oil for non-cooking purposes (I've gotten some solid jars of just what they sell at the corner store and liquefies at heat anyway) and if I were to switch to a raw, solid, or non-fractionated coconut oil, I'd definitely go to Carrington farms as my first pick.

great product
One of the biggest advantages is that it never hardens, so you don’t need to melt it before use. This makes it ideal for:Quick cooking and sautéingDrizzling over foodsBaking without prep hassleThe liquid consistency comes from removing higher-melting fatty acids during processing .🍳 2. Neutral taste and smellUnlike traditional coconut oil, this is odorless and flavorless, so it won’t alter your food. That’s a big plus if you:Don’t like coconut flavorWant a versatile oil for savory dishes🔥 3. High smoke pointIt has a relatively high smoke point (around 400°F), making it suitable for:SautéingStir-fryingBakingThat puts it above many unrefined coconut oils in cooking flexibility .💪 4. MCT-rich & cleaner ingredientsContains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) for quick energyOrganic, non-GMO, gluten-freeNo trans fats or hydrogenated oilsIt’s often marketed as a healthier alternative to vegetable or canola oil.👎 Downsides to consider⚠️ 1. More processed than regular coconut oilTo keep it liquid, the oil undergoes additional processing (distillation), which:Removes some fatty acidsMakes it less “natural” than virgin coconut oilIf you prefer minimally processed foods, this might be a drawback.⚠️ 2. Lacks coconut flavorWhile many see this as a benefit, others may miss the rich coconut taste found in traditional oils.⚠️ 3. Not ideal for all dietsEven though it’s marketed as healthy:It’s still high in saturated fatNot necessarily better than olive oil for heart health⭐ Real-world performanceIn everyday use, this oil performs very well:Doesn’t overpower foodEasy to pour and measureWorks reliably for medium to high heat cookingIt’s especially useful for people who want the benefits of coconut oil without the inconvenience or flavor.🏁 Final verdictCarrington Farms Organic Liquid Coconut Cooking Oil is a practical, user-friendly cooking oil that prioritizes convenience and versatility.✔️ Great for:Busy home cooksPeople who dislike coconut flavorBaking and everyday cooking❌ Not ideal for:Purists who want unrefined, traditional coconut oilThose avoiding processed oils👉 Bottom line: If you want a clean, easy-to-use alternative to standard cooking oils, this is a solid choice—but it trades a bit of natural purity for convenience.

I really like this cooking oil. It has no flavor or smell which makes it perfect for cooking without changing the taste of food. It works great at higher temperatures and feels like a clean, healthy option to use daily. The bottle is convenient and I always keep this one in my kitchen.
