Inner Diameter at the top is 3 1/8". The outer diameter is about 3 5/16". The bottom is 2.5" across

What is the outter diameter of the bottom. Will it fit in a car cup holder

If your cup holder holds a coke can smugly, no. The bottom will fit but it won’t drop down to fit securely. If you have the larger diameter cup holder it will fit fine.
