I like to make my own pickles from scratch in my old Tupperware pickle container for the refrigerator, I put some of this, dill, salt water and venegar, and a couple of days later I have pickles. Once ready I can taste the spices in the mixture, relatively well balanced.

I bought this spice packet for corned beef. It worked perfectly. It would have cost three times as much to purchase all the spices separately making it a great value. I used a slow cooker. While the it was cooking the aroma was amazing. The spices are designed for pickling however they turned out to work great for corned beef. I only needed half the packet so there is enough left over for a second batch.
