I bought a couple of these years ago for my family. Luckily we never had to use them, but they gave us peace of mind. I tested them every few months and they finally died. They didn't have replaceable batteries (yes I tore one of them open to check!) so I purchased new ones. These are the same quality and have replaceable batteries! We've already tested the ear-piercing sound they emit, along with the strobe light. I highly recommend this item as it's small and easy to use. I hope I never have to use it, but it's nice to have it just in case.

Product is as described. I love that there is a visual and audible alarm. It does sound like a bird chirp, but a very loud annoying one that will definitely get attention. I feel better about my daughter walking alone when she carries this. Thankfully, she hasn't needed to use it yet!

Gave these alarms to my closest friends, they laughed at me for buying them; until they actually tested them out. Price is good. The alarm is small and looks like purse charm or key chain. Put it on a chain and wear it as necklace or on a belt loop of jeans. It is cute, lightweight, pretty colors and incredibly loud! Really loud and good quality just as described It is a lifesaving gift to yourself or a great buy for everyone you love…

Excellent product. Bought 6 of them for all my daughters , my sons girlfriends and myself. This is something all women should have hooked on their keys. Easy to operate.

These birdies are incredible. I bought them for my teenage girls as they take public transit and are scared of MEN. These scare everyone away if they ever feel in danger, and they're super loud and bring lots of attention - which is exactly what they should do. They make me feel safer that my girls have these with them! I have recommended them to everyone I know.
