Haricot Verts Petite Filet- Green Bean Seeds- 30+ Seeds by Ohio Heirloom Seeds

Seeds for true Haricot Vert which are petite filet green beans, are very hard to find but I found them in Amazon. Who knew? These seeds are producing narrower, a bit shorter and most importantly very tender delicious green beans which is exactly right for Haricot vert. Perfect! The cost is good, every seed germinated, they’ve been very healthy and as the type does, they will produce until they freeze or you plow them under. Then also freeze really well. Just blanch, chill and freeze in Foodsaver type bags. I defrost them, add them to a skillet with a bit of butter and finely chopped shallots, toss them over med-high heat until hot, remove from heat and Serve immediately. Truly delicious! Bottom Line? If you haven’t tried Haricot Vert greens beans, buy a package and find out why these are the only green beans I grow and eat.

I planted all the seeds, but only 1 seed took. I'm not sure what I did wrong. Im not giving up yet on the rest! The 1 seed is strong. Hoping to get something from it when it matures

I have been growing plants for years. These bean seeds that I bought were terrible. 10 plants out of 40. Super unhappy. Never buy again

My other green beans wouldn’t germinate so I had to buy these off of Amazon. They quickly germinated and seem to be growing very well. I haven’t received any fruit yet so I don’t know about the quality, but they did it quickly grow.

Grows like any other green bean. Nothing extraordinary, but they grew well and are good.

Update: just picked my first handful. Im thrilled with the success of these seeds. Ill be buying again next year and planting at least double what I did this year. Super excited for these. All seeds germinated quickly snd plants are now strong and established in the garden
