Exactly as I had hoped it would be! Fits perfectly true to size, compact and lightweight. You can't expect miracles in a downpour, but yes - I would consider this to be effectly rain and wind resistant. I especially apprecate the length - at 5'8 it goes down just past my bum. It's the perfect little jacket to shove into a backpack or carry-on. Will keep you warm if you get chilly on an airplane. Highly recommend.

I really think I will like this jacket! It's a typical, lightweight rain jacket, but I like the cut and style of it. I havent actually worn it in the rain yet, so I hope it holds up. It looks like it would be fine for light rain showers, but I'm not confident that it would keep you dry in a heavy downpour.

Great basic rain coat. Good zipper, basic style and very thick but thick enough to keep you dry. Blue is dark.

I used this rain jacket during a spring trip to Lisbon and Spain where it rained almost every day. It was absolutely perfect for the trip. It kept me dry without feeling heavy or bulky. When I wasn’t using it, it folded up easily and fit right into my backpack without taking up much space. It is lightweight, comfortable, and great for travel. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable rain jacket on the go. It is a great value! I will be taking it to Florida next and I know it will hold up well and keep my dry.

This is a great raincoat. It has kept me dry in pouring rain. I don’t get sweaty in it like a slicker. The black one looks nice enough to wear over something dressy. It folds well into its pouch. I sewed the pouch on so it doesn’t get lost. The hood stays on even in the wind. I just convinced myself to buy a light colored one. Pockets keep stuff in, since they open on the top, with a fold of fabric covering the opening. There is Velcro holding the pocket closed, which could be annoying if you want fast access, but that feature ensures nothing will fall out. I take this everywhere.

This appears to be a really a nice jacket but it runs small, especially at the armholes. If you have large upper arms, this is not what you want.

This is the second one I've gotten of this brand of raincoat. The first one I bought my daughter kept wearing it and it was a bit snug on me so I let her have that one and I bought myself a different color and then excise up and it fits perfectly. It's a good price, it's very lightweight the zippers work great it has a little baggie that you can store it in. Functionally it keeps you dry and it's very comfortable.

Fit as expected, zippers work well, and is lightweight to wear around the waist. Rolled up some might find it bulkier than they thought (it’s about the size of one of those small squishy microfiber cylindrical pillows) but it’s fine for me. Stays in my suitcase for travel use for unexpected rain.
