Excellent picture and smart features, just add a soundbar
I bought this TV in February 2026 and have been very impressed with it. I was initially hesitant because Hisense isn't as well known as some of the bigger brands, but it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is excellent for a 32-inch TV, with bright colours, sharp detail and a clear, vibrant display. The menu system is straightforward and easy to navigate, and the programme guide is well laid out. The smart TV interface is responsive, with apps loading quickly and streaming services playing smoothly without buffering or dropouts. My only criticism is the sound. Like many ultra-thin TVs, the built-in speakers lack depth and bass. The audio is perfectly adequate for everyday viewing, but if you enjoy films or music, I'd recommend pairing it with a soundbar for a much fuller, richer sound. Overall, this is an excellent value TV with great picture quality, fast smart features and an easy-to-use interface. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

High Quality Great Value
Delivered in good time. Excellent, sharp picture and wide range of functions. Simple connection to home WiFi router. Built in Freely great feature. Switched from Freeview as roof aerial needed replacing. TV cost less than aerial fitting! Now have much more reliable signal, a huge bonus.

Works well
Great little television. I donโt have an ariel so I have just connected it to the ethernet and access the streaming platforms. Fits really well in small places and doesnโt take up much space. I am personally happy with the picture quality but I donโt think the sound is as good. I ended up getting a sound bar and it is a perfect little package.

Amazing.
This TV is absolutely amazing! Great picture, superb sound, very versatile without an aerial, can be placed anywhere so long as your WiFi can reach. Took about 10 minutes to set up, signing in to various streaming services etc. but was straightforward. Slight lag as you change channel sometimes but I think that's due to it being purely a streaming TV service. I haven't tried it with an aerial or satellite connector as that's not why I got it. For my bedroom it's almost perfect except for one very annoying omission: NO BLUETOOTH! Why they would do this I don't know but it means you have to get a separate Bluetooth transmitter if you want to use wireless headphones with it. I believe most larger models have it built in? But that is it's only disadvantage for me. Other than that, highly recommended.

Stick to LED
The general consensus seems to be that this is a great for the low cost. For ยฃ200 I thought it would be worth a punt. The tv is ok, but I'm sure I'll replace it soonish as 3 things are annoying me. The tv only has 2 HDMI ports on the rear - I have a virgin tv box and sound bar plugged in, so if we want to connect a games console for example then we need to move the tv and pull a lead out and put a new one in and move the tv back - very tedious. Secondly, we have a virgin tv box and we can physically turn the tv on/off with the virgin remote, but we still need the Hisense remote to select what source we're watching, before reverting back to the virgin remote again. This is a family bugbear. Thirdly, the 'wide' viewing is not wide. Head on, you have bright vivid colours, but start moving to the sides and the colour quickly drains. We have a smallish room with seating arranged in a C shape, so 2 people have pale slightly grey programmes to watch. I previously had an LED screen, but presumed QLED being more modern was going to be far superior. I've since learned that rubbish viewing angles is a thing for QLED. D'oh, should have stuck with LED. The sound is a bit tinny, but I use a descent soundbar so it would never compare and wasn't basing my purchase on this aspect.

Good picture and sound but a few issues/gotchas - not easy to recommend
This review is for the supply of model 32E5QTUK I was looking for a small 32 inch TV with good picture and this seemed to fit the bill. First, I will say that the picture and sound are good, and the overall experience with the Vidaa system is good, as is the Freely system (once you log into all your streaming services). But a few issues/gotchas. Most importantly, Plex doesn't work on this TV. I don't know why. All other TVs on my wifi network work fine. All the other TV apps work fine on this TV. But Plex...Nope. Its says it cannot connect to the server. I even manually added the server (with IP address) and that didn't connect either. Seems to be a common issue, but I suggest if Plex is important to you, you look elsewhere as this could affect many Vidaa/HiSense TVs...? I am currently engaging with HiSense customer support althought I have to say all they have suggested so far is to clear the cache and reset the whole TV....! I will update if I have news. This TV doesn't have Bluetooth - I assumed all new TVs did but this doesn't - my fault, but be careful if that's important to you (it was to me, but my fault for not being more careful) I bought this on Amazon. In the description it says the Vesa fitting is 200x200. It isn't - it's 100x200. Luckily I did already check the Hisense website (which stated it's correct Vesa at 100x200) and bought a wall mount that included 100x200 and 200x200. Unfortunately, the description for that wall mount was also incorrect as that didn't have 100x200, but it did have 200x100. I bought another and its all mounted and running now (apart from Plex, see above!). So if you are buying this from a retailer I would suggest double checking the HiSense website for specific features. I think because there are so many size/versions of each model, a lot of retailers (like Amazon) have the specs that might not match the specific version you choose. And I would suggest also doing as much checking as you can for any of the apps you might want that are not the normal everyday streamers like iPlayer, Netflix, Disney etc as it seems like it may not work well with some of them...

Amazing, for the price.
Its honestly really great value for the money. Setup was quick, the OS performance is fairly good given the lower spec, some slight lag on heavier apps like Netflix but nothing too bad. Sound is OK, it was a bit too bass heavy out the box even on a low volume, clear though with some changes. Remote is good and nicely has a flat bottom so can stand it up which I miss with others. Smart functionality is as good as any other set I've used. Picture isn't as good as my OLED of course, but is way better than most other panels I've seen at this price point and I don't feel bad if I get relegated to this "lesser" TV.
