While steaming is there an Accumulation of water in the egg cup?

I have not had any accumulation, except when I lift the lid, and hold it at a tilt over an egg, and water drips down the lid, which, by the way it says not to do in the instructions. When you lift your lid, hold it level until you get it away from the cooking pot. It should only take four or five tries to get this technique down.

What size instant pot will this work with

It will work with the 6 and 8 quart Instant Pot. The diameter on the poaching rack is 7.25 inches.

Will the metal on this poacher rack will harm the non-stick of the pot or pan I put it in?

The metal legs don't move when you put it in the pan so I wouldn't think it would scratch as long as you are careful. The edges are of the rack are smooth. I use it in a regular pan so I can't say for certain.

how much time should i cook the eggs in an instant pot, for a soft cooked poached egg?

It will vary. On many things. Age of eggs. How many you're cooking for a couple of factors. Plus you'll need to experiment a bit. If cooking 2 to 3 eggs? Start at 6 to 7 minutes. Try 6 minutes first to see if that your desired doneness. No more than 7 minutes though for 2 to 3 eggs. If you're cooking more than 3 eggs? Use 6 minutes maximum because the more eggs the more heat generated and the less time needed. Try these suggestions out and see how they come out. I would still lightly spray the cups with spray oil. And do not let cooked eggs sit in the cups when done. Gently, very gently remove and serve them. Try this. You may need to adjust a minute one way or the other, but this should be a good starting point and guideline. Hope it helps.

Wunderbare Lösung für alle, die " Eier Benedict " lieben ! Bitte vorher die kleinen Schalen mit etwas Öl auspinseln. Das Gitter mit den Schalen - gefüllt mit den aufgeschlagenen Eiern und Gewürzen - wird in fast noch kochendes Wasser gestellt. Die Herdplatte auf kleine Stufe runterstellen, Deckel drüber und garen. Ein Ei der Größe M braucht bei Herdstufe 1,5 ca. 6 min. Dann ist es gar, aber innen noch weich. Je sanfter die Temperatur, desto mehr Aroma bleibt im Ei. Das Herausnehmen geht gut mit einem großen Löffel aus Plastik. Das Gerät ist hochwertig. Die Reinigung geht sehr einfach. 5***** !!

Great little poacher

Must say it's handy. I love eggs. But poaching them is one of my weakness. Used it for the first time today and results were good. Read the manual, as it does mention to oil the trays first (I skipped that step accidentally) for easy cleanup. So without oil it does leave a little leftover egg residue. No biggy. Next time I'll make sure to oil it.
