I have been using terrasil cream morning and night for two weeks. I have also used the terrasil soap when I shower. The result has been mixed. The rash was eventually retarded, but not yet cured and I can say my experience has been a partiallhy successful. Although the directions for use suggest it may take up to three weeks for the cream to cure the rash that seems a long time to me considering there hasn't been much improvement in my condition for several days. I had to order more of the terrasil cream since I have used most of the original tube and felt more was needed as I continue using it. The small tube of the cream is hardly enough to go three weeks if used as directed. I will give it another week and if there is no further progress toward a cure I will quit the treatment and resort to a using an expensive cream prescribed by my Dermatologist. Would I recommend the terrasil cream? I would, but with reservations.

This product is an over-the-counter item and with its being so available to the public, it is a welcome addition to my medicine cabinet. In at most two days, my skin rash/irritation had cleared up and the slight pain I had experienced was gone. I have used this before and it is consistent in its clearing up this skin problem. I do recommend it highly. A little bit of the cream is applied to the skin not more than twice a day.

Scent is fine for a private area jock itch cream. I have bought at least 15 of these over past 18 months. Stopped buying last year because it seemed to lose its effectiveness over that period of time.

This stuff was very effective on a stubborn outbreak of tinea. Look at the ingredients. They're awesome for treating fungus! And it smells like peppermint beeswax, sort of like burt's bees. Very pleasant and tingly. Maybe a little sticky. Sadly, this stuff is too expensive for me, since the 14g tube only lasted two applications. I wish I could use this to treat it all the way through, as the results were so, so fast, but I had to go back to the cheaper clotrimazole ointments (which DO work for me, just a bit slower and itchier). It's not like there isn't enough in here to treat a normal sized area, it's just that my tinea happens to be all over my anterior torso, groin, and glutes. Even though my time was short with this product, I would try it again if I had a SMALL area to treat.

I'm not saying not to try it. But I didn't work for me at all. Even ordered a second one thinking if I just use it longer maybe it'll kick in but after using two tubes which aren't cheap by no means it still didn't work. But what IS WORKING is the Lotrimin jock itch antifungal SPRAY (the Lotrimin creams didn't work for me either and if you made it to looking for a job itch on Amazon it's safe to assume you've also tried the Lotrimin cream). For some reason the spray gets the job done.

I've been battling jock itch for some years now and didn't even notice that I had it. I thought it was normal for the occasional itch. Crazy right? About a year ago it got really bad!! I mean, the itching was so intense I would scratch to the point were my skin became tender. Then my skin started becoming very dry and scaly. Trust me is was NOT appealing in any way. Like most people I bought expensive over the counter solutions, saw to see a dermatologist, got prescription and NOTHING! When I first saw this product I was willing to try anything. The first time I applied it, I felt a sense of relief! Within a week the scales were gone!.. and within a month I started getting my skin color back (if you're going through this, you know what i mean). I applied it once a day, everyday for a couple of months. After it was under control I applied it once a week or as needed. Today I'm ordering my 2nd order for preventative care. I hope this detailed review helps somebody.
