Reliable choice.
Gates belts are a good choice for any scooter transmission. I put over 8,000 mi on one and changed it because i had the engine apart. The old Gates belt still looked good.

Ok, this, as far as I can tell, IS IN FACT, a Gates Powerlink belt.
Idk what others have gotten or their experience, I see some say it's not gates power link.. all I know is that I ordered 2 of these. I received 2 of them. They were the correct length and the only ones I could find that were 842 length, they say gates power link on both the packaging and the belts themselves, they seem pretty durable since the first one took 4 months to finally break (I'm pretty hard on my scooter, have done all sorts of upgrades to increase performance besides a longer belt) and the 2nd I ordered as a spare has been on it ever since and still going. Seems to function as it should to be and have held up to my abuse. Even if this one breaks my next ride these were still worth the money and I'm gonna buy a couple more.

Never had a problem with these belts. The quality and longevity of this belt excede the few extra dollars you pay for it. Bang for the buck quotient is high.

Trash belt, not real gates
Lasted 7 months and blew apart and left me sitting on the side of the road. Pulled the cover off and it was in pieces. Definitely not gates quality. Last one I had on for 5 years and it was an actual real gates and never came apart. So this is definitely not a real gates, it's a knockoff. Must I mind you I do regular maintenance on my bike so yeah
