The finest pumice you'll ever use.
This pumice is the real deal. It is high quality, uniform in size, generously portioned, and securely packaged. I purchased this particular pumice after sampling a few other brands available on Amazon. The other brands left much to be desired -- they were often dirty, gritty, and inconsistent in size. Although some competitors charge less for a similar quantity of pumice, the difference in price is negligible when it comes down to overall quality. As you can see from my photo, the pot on top (terracotta) is filled with pumice from a similar listing by a different brand. The pieces are larger, rougher, and vary in size. The pot towards the bottom (plastic) is filled with Cz Garden pumice. The pumice by Cz Garden is smoother, cleaner, brighter, and consistently sized. There is simply no comparison. This pumice comes packaged neatly in a sturdy and resealable plastic bag with lots of printed information regarding the product. While others have complained about the Bible quote on the bag, I am not bothered in the slightest. On the contrary, the controversy surrounding the quotation was rather amusing. It was, in fact, one of the deciding factors for my purchase. A quotation from Genesis regarding the creation of plant life is hardly an attempt to proselytize; rather, it is a celebration of the mystery and wonder of our created universe. Some interesting food for thought: a "new age" or "secular" quotation would have either gone unnoticed or celebrated. Go figure. Thank you to Cz Garden for creating a superior product, for honoring the mystery of creation, and for celebrating our imitation of God's love for this world through the simple act of gardening. You have earned yourself a loyal customer.

Excellent for semi-hydro mixes
I use this pumice as part of my pon mix for my semi-hydro houseplants, and it’s honestly one of the better medias I’ve tried. The pieces are a nice, consistent size—nothing too dusty or too chunky—and it gives my roots the airflow they need. My plants respond really well to it, especially my Alocasia and Philodendrons. It mixes easily with LECA or larger rocks and doesn’t break down quickly. Definitely a five-star product for anyone doing semi-hydro or wanting a lighter, airy mix.

Very good, consistent granules, not powdery
I used this to grow cuttings in, and top off potted soil based plants to keep fungus knats from breeding (they don’t like this, and it is a deterrent to them breeding on the top soil layer- and it did work for me! ). And the potted plants look good with this as a mulch also! Is expensive for larger scale use, so check out what you’re getting. This bag seemed to be about1/2 gallon , for reference. You still need to rinse it before using, and a finer mesh strainer will do fine.

Nice
I haven't used it as a medium yet, but it feels very fine. I love the grit. I think it'll be a nice addition to the mixes. In which I choose to use it in.

Wonderful for semi hydroponics
I love this stuff! I find that plants with smaller roots like substrates with smaller particles. I mix it with perlite and aquarium substrate for a perfect “transition mix” to move plants from soil to semi hydroponics. (The trick is to use a wick setup, not a self watering setup where the substrate is submerged).
