Meaco MeacoFan 1056 Air Circulator - Powerful, Energy Efficient, Low Energy, Quiet cooling desk fan for bedroom, home and office, Oscillating, Remote Controlled

This is a superbly engineered fan with all the features you could wish for and it looks pretty stylish too. It is powerful and versatile with 12 speeds, both vertical and horizontal oscillation (which can be used in combination), it has a local remote control and can also be controlled remotely via WiFi/internet connection and Alexa if you want. Above all it is very, very quiet and therefore perfect for a bedroom. At speeds 1 to 3 it is almost inaudible and it isn't until around speed 6 that you can start to hear it. A few things I've noticed that may be helpful .. The Meaco app is actually a re-skinned version of the SmartLife app which I already use to manage a few other devices so I've added the Meaco fan in that app instead - so I now have multiple smart devices all in one place. The full range of control settings for this fan are available in SmartLife as they are encoded to the Tuya chip inside the fan. And TBH the SmartLife app is more robust and more widely supported. I've noticed that if you switch off mains power whilst it's running it continues to run on battery power but at a lower speed. This is a design feature so it can achieve an impressive 40 hours runtime on battery power. I would say that speed 12 running on battery is about the same as speed 9 running on mains. Also worth noting that if it's on Standby it will only remain WiFi connected if it has mains power. I'd say this fan is designed as a mains powered device but has the added flexibility for use on battery power when you need it. I actually have had two of these fans arrive this week. I originally ordered one from Amazon on 23 June, then noticed a few hours later that had I ordered direct from Meaco I'd have received a free storage bag worth £21.99. Same price and same DPD delivery by either route. So I cancelled the Amazon order and re-ordered from Meaco's website. But the cancellation was apparently too late - so I now have two and I'm not sending either one back! I've seen others complain about late deliveries from Meaco but given we are in the middle of a heat wave I received both fans (Amazon ordered and Meaco ordered) within 48 hours of order placement. I had looked at lashing out for a Dyson bladeless fan but I am very pleased with the Meaco product. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for - and it is massively cheaper than the equivalent Dyson and probably cools a whole room more effectively too.

Quiet fan!! I usually cannot sleep with the background noise of a fan but on a medium setting this was still great. The little magnetic remote is a great touch with the extra options including an eco function so that it would turn off if the temperature drops. The fan oscillation is great as both horizontal and vertical. Feels solid, aesthetically pleasing and the handle is a nice touch.

Great fan. Can be a light whisper breeze to full on blow. Bidirectional up down and side to side. Displays room temperature which is useful. I’ve not had it on full blast to sleep but at half setting it is quiet and powerful enough to sleep. Provided a welcome breeze with our recent hot temperatures. It is quite big so check dimensions but I’m happy with that. Very useful remote control so could adjust from comfort of bed. And remote is magnetic and sits in centre of fan when you need to store it. Wanted rechargeable cordless option so I could use in places where there’s no socket. I want to put it in my loft to help air circulation in the winter. And was prepared to pay for this feature. Good run time on battery only also i like the fact it’s designed in Uk for Uk market. Before making my final selection after looking at various fans I had to ask ChatGPT what the difference is between the Meaco Sefte 10” Table Air Circulator (released in 2024) and the Sefte Pro 10” Table Air Circulator (released in 2026 (suggest you do the same as too long to explain here) I went for the Pro. I Would recommend this product if you want a decent household appliance type of fan.

This fan is great. Powerful and quiet. Feels very cooling. I just had the best nights sleep in this heatwave. It’s fairly light so easy to move around. Feels sturdy. The remote works well and I like that you can switch off the light and beeps on the control panel for nighttime use. It’s up and down and side to side settings means that it can direct air to a wider area. It’s great that these are adjustable too. It’s quite large but very stable. I can fit it on my bedside table.

You can buy cheaper fans, but - really - why would you? This one is beautifully designed and well-built. I have deducted one star as it is not manufactured in the UK, and would prefer to see an end to outsourcing everything to the Far East. This is, however, an excellent product. Quiet in operation, plenty of control over speeds, and allows both horizontal and vertical oscillation.

I genuinely couldn’t be more impressed with this fan. From the moment I switched it on, I could tell it was in a different league. It’s incredibly quiet, even on higher settings, yet produces such a powerful, smooth airflow that cools the whole room in minutes. The build quality feels premium, the design is sleek and modern, and I love how compact it is without compromising on performance. The remote control, timer and multiple speed settings make it effortless to use, and the oscillation distributes air beautifully throughout the room. What surprised me most is just how whisper-quiet it is. I can comfortably watch TV, work or sleep with it on, which wasn’t possible with my previous fans.

This fan is simply the best fan I've ever owned. Not only is it powerful on high settings, its almost noiseless on the lower ones. It's bidirectional oscillation also moves the air across the whole room rather than one area. Yes, its expensive but you get what you pay for! My only gripe is the remote control is almost useless unless you are less than a meter from the unit. However, with the Eco or timer mode on this unit is more of a set and leave setup. I would buy again without hesitation.

I have only been using this fan for two days and already I am a convert to the quality, build and effectiveness of the Meaco Sefte. I use it in my bedroom and can say it is so quiet you can hardly hear that it is on. The fan is about 12 feet from me and even on it's lowest setting (1 of 12 settings) I can feel the gentle but effective breeze it produces. Of course it is early days but so far so excellent and I can only hope it goes on to give me years of satisfaction in use and a cooling breeze. I have registered it on line which give's me a three year warrenty. Recommended 'so far'.

Molto silenzioso, facile da usare, pratico controllo remoto.

La mia mamma anzianissima e allettata, ha spesso caldo ma non tollera i rumori. Comprato questo con grande esborso, ma avuto successo oltre le aspettative. E' diventato una confortevole compagnia silenziosa e rinfrescante per le sue notti lunghe e tristi. Telecomando un pochino piccolo e affollato di comandi, ma per fortuna il pulsante On/Off è in centro e abbastanza raggiungibile. Contento.
