This works with a budget HP laptop. I'm using the HDMI for external monitor so i have this camera going in through a video capture "card" at 1080p. Works great. There were very few options for PTZ that didn't break the bank and this is one of them; i bought it based on other reviews and it works exactly as everyone says. Picture quality is good at 1080p, which is all i use it at. I don't know about audio because i use external lav microphone. Connected easy, and remote works straight away. I do recommend this camera.

Very good camera

OMG This camera brings all the features (and probably the systems integrations) of a high-end corporation video teleconference system to within the reach of remote office workers and online streamers. Functionality - this camera literally blows away anything I have used at home - EVER. It has everything from manual/auto focus, tilt, pan, zoom, wide angle shots, auto-framing, secondary screen output with on-screen display, Zero software to install.... It worked perfectly plug-n-play for both Windows 11 Pro and Fedora Linux 43... I used GoogleMeet via Chrome browser for both tests...along with my own USB microphone. The included remote control is the ultimate game changer. I can control all of the functions directly from the remote (which is why I didn't need to install anything) I am 100% sure this camera can also integrate with those corporate systems - I just don't have that here to test with... This camera system combined with my own inexpensive USB microphone have turned my home office into that high-end conference room... It literally has transformed my daily calls with increased clarity.

DOES NOT WORK OVER IP!!! Absolutely useless if you want to use it over ip. I requested a replacement and it still had the exact same issue. It works over hdmi though but not Ethernet which defeats the purpose of me getting an up camera with poe

This Camera can do a lot. It has great picture quality and can all be controlled from a single remote. Pan, zoom focus, presets, it's all there. There a whole bunch of connection options, not just USB into a computer. Two words: "Clean HDMI Output" (ok, three words). That's the big feature for me. You can run this directly into a TV with a normal HDMI cable (Included). and nothing but pure picture on the screen. This is great for remote viewing in you church, office, or studio. It's well worth the price. I had some trouble with the mounting hardware included. It's for solid walls (concrete) so you need to use different anchors for drywall. Also there is not much "play" in the bracket so you have to make sure your mounting holes are precisely placed when you drill them.

The item is ok, but resolution is not that good. Picture quality was not that great.

This is professional equipment built for knowledgeable, attentive configuration. The camera works well for video conferencing and streaming setups, especially in spaces where participants are relatively stationary. The instruction manual is impressively detailed and easy to follow. It includes clear, step-by-step guidance for setup, including network-based streaming, which makes it easier to take advantage of the camera’s full feature set. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making the system easily accessible. Using HDMI, setup is straightforward and it connects easily for calls or streaming without much configuration. The 10X optical zoom to adjust framing in larger rooms without moving the camera, and the included remote makes those adjustments simple and responsive. It’s a good fit for conference rooms, classrooms, or small event spaces where flexibility in positioning is helpful. USB use may depend on your setup. My 2024 Mac doesn’t support USB-A directly, so I had to test it on other machines, which only displayed at 1080p. Your hardware may vary. In terms of image quality, the video is clear and perfectly usable for conferencing and streaming. While it’s labeled as 4K, it doesn’t appear quite as sharp or crisp as higher-end 4K cameras, but it still performs well for its intended use with a strong feature set for the price.

Camera is a solid build but the pictue quality is substandard. Not worth the investment.
