I love this thing. I've used it for laptops and audio equipment and it works great. Feels fairly heavy duty, weighty enough and with variable tripod width so it won't tip over but you can also make it a smaller footprint when needed. I've actually bought two of them for various purposes, I liked the first one so much. When I got the second one it had a missing part, but contacting Starument through the Amazon app (not easy due to Amazon UI... I had to go through chat and hard to find a way to contact manufacturer which I found strange) Starument sent me a replacement promptly.

So far so good. Got it 2 days ago, easy to assemble, (just2 pieces) top tray,& bottom (pod stand), very sturdy, good quality metal, balance is great, even weight top & bottom, won't topple over by itself, only if you knock it over. To move to another area u have to lift it,(there are no wheels. ) Top tilts to your choice & can rotate. I just love it, just what I needed. Only thing was, was metal attachment loop was broken, ( I guest to store pin, not sure), still theproduct quality is excellent for the price of $49.99, (I think it's a very fair price). I would recommend this product & buy again if needed

I am a drummer and also run the sound system for the band. I needed a stand for my Chrombook that runs the mixer program. This sturdy stand fits just right among the drum equipment that allows me easy reach and view of whats going on. The stand is nice a sturdy and has a smaller tray footprint that is just right for the chromebook.

I am a singer-entertainer for memory care and assisted living facilities and use the stand to hold a laptop that provides the music. This tripod stand is stable and light weight, so it completely meets my needs. My only concern is with the durability of the adjustable screws. They are plastic and could be prone to stripping over a period of time; the screws in my two speaker stands are stripped after several years of use. However, this tripod stand appears to be well constructed, so only time will tell as to how long it will hold up under consistent use. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Expecting a music stand type item I was enormously surprised to find it was nothing of the kind. The stand portion is equivalent to the heavy duty speaker stands I use for large 12" powered speakers. It included stopper holes and a steel pin to take the weight off the tightening knobs just like the more expensive speaker stands. The plate to hold the computer or in my case my smaller multi channel sound mixer is very heavy duty, probably the heaviest part of the assembly. Its made of solid steel and yes heavy but I will have no fear of mounting expensive equipment on it. I suspect the entire assembly is strong enough to actually hold two concrete blocks (not that I have tested it in this way you understand). Since I plan on replacing the old table I use to lug around (of which I only needed 1/3 of the end with this stand for my mixer It will be easier to locate near my cameras. Since it will allow me to place my sound mixer right next to my several cameras it will enable me to perform better when recording multi camera recording like our recent community mayoral debate. I like to also control the front-of-house audio in these productions thereby enabling perfect audio for my recordings later to be broadcast on television and this stand will be perfect for this use. Only negative which in usage is actually a positive is the weight of carrying this stand from the truck to the place of use. But then again the strength of this stand in its intended use will more than makes up for the additional weight. BTW this is probably overkill if you are only putting some light sheet music on it. But if you have heavy things to mount on it, this is your product.

I’m not a dj but I do own a stationary bike. This allows me to keep my laptop and phone nearby wo drenching the devices. My wife doesn’t like how it looks in the bedroom but it looks exactly as it does in pictures, I made the call to bring it in the bedroom. It’s bulky but it also doesn’t fall down easily. Height is more than sufficient for my tall bike. So yea, this laptop stands stands tall and proud. I recommend.

I was disappointed to see scratch marks on both the stand and the tray. This was packaged so nicely that it couldn't have occurred in transit.EDIT: I initiated an exchange that same day and they shipped a new product within a couple days and I had the option to leave the bad one outside to be picked up. The replacement is much better.Only issue is that when the tray is tightened in place it tilts slightly down to the left.And only wish is that when I'm using it while sitting on a chair that it could go down further but I'm not complaining.The legs are sturdy and I purchased it to use while standing on my rebounder as a standing desk kind of situation. It works perfectly for that. I hope they come up with a wider tray in the future so I can fit more things on there.

I have been searching for something like this for years and to no success my neck problems persisted. This is the very reason this product was needed due to the degeneration of my cervical spine. The constant angling my head downward was sometimes unbearable. So much pain when always looking downward on these devices this adjustable tripod stand did not only exceed my expectations to the pain in my neck but superseded the affordable cost, heavy weight and sturdiness. 5⭐️ Worth the purchase...and did I say it’s a weighty product! Oh yeah!
