I recently upgraded from an older Dell laptop to the Beelink SER8 Mini PC, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As someone who has worked in IT for decades, I’ve bought and used countless PCs, but this one truly impressed me with how far mini PCs have come. Setting it up was seamless—I simply connected it to my existing docking station via the USB-C port, and everything worked perfectly without any hiccups. Out of the box, it came preloaded with Windows 11 Pro and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, making multitasking effortless. Whether I’m running multiple programs, browsing with tons of tabs open in Chrome, or attending a Teams meeting, this machine handles it all with zero lag. One of the standout features is its **AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor** and **AMD Radeon 780M Graphics Card**, which together deliver powerful performance and stunning visuals. The triple-display support (HDMI2.1, DP1.4, USB4) makes it a fantastic option for productivity, especially in a multi-monitor setup. Beyond performance, the value for money is undeniable. This is a mini PC suitable for gaming on older games that are not too demanding video wise. I used it to replace an aging power hungry mid sized tower PC and it has performed flawlessly. It comes with windows 11 ready to install as well as a AMD Ryzen 7 with 780M graphics integrated into it. It has an HDMI port and a Display port. It also has a USB C suitable for display use. It comes with a RJ45 2.5 GBit LAN port and WiFi LAN connectivity as well as Bluetooth connectivity. It also has multiple USB A ports. It has a stereo speaker port on the front and a microphone port on the rear. It came with one 1 TerraByte M.2 SSD and has a slot for a second M.2 SSD. It also came with 32 Gigabyte of RAM. (4GB is used for video processing). It plays Minecraft Java well and also older Steam games as well as Second Life and older CD based games if you add an external CD Reader. Windows 11 has been stable and I added a second 1 TerraByte M.2 SSD to install OpenSuse Linux on which also works well.

The unit performs well overall. The CPU, SSD, and RAM are all in excellent condition. It runs silently and stays cool under moderate load. The only drawback is the weak Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signal, which I was aware of before purchasing. I resolved this by replacing the AX200 NIC's original antenna with an extended external one, which significantly improved the signal.

Sooooo easy to use. There’s no sound when turn on, and everything is so smooth. It has A LOT of storage. It is perfect for me because I like to play games but I also work and study. So it’s perfect. It doesn’t get. And its soooo prettyyyyyyy, the price is totally worth it!💖🥹💖🥹💖

I was easily able to disable UEFI and install Linux (Ubuntu Server). I just need a physical unit for Nautobot and ContainerLab since my LXD Virtual Machine instance of Nautobot frequently experienced Redis connectivity errors (different host) and Celery would occasionally stop processing the queue. The bare metal deployment on this Beelink works flawlessly. The only concern I have is that when I start my ContainerLab virtual router and switch (Docker images), the temperature (as reported by my Prometheus node exporter) rises quite a bit while the CPU is relatively low.

Very simple setup process. Windows 11 Pro is included. If you read the ad it never mentioned the OS. Quickly setup and using it within 10 minutes. I'm surprised at how fast it operates and very quiet too. One small caveat, it does get slow when running multi screen video/graphics. Normal internet and word processing, loading PDF's, MS-Office stuff it runs great. Since it doesn't have a separate GPU board I understand the slow down. Otherwise it's stellar. I appreciate how cool it operates too. My office warms up with my tower running. This is a great bargain with great performance.

Was very easy to get going as Windows 11 is preinstalled. System was fast and quiet. Size, and packaging it came in, is stunningly small.

This is the 2nd Beelink Mini of the same model I've ordered since May. In comparing it's performance tradeoffs to costs I believe it's the best of the line. I'm using it to do research and design activities without any hangups in performance or other limitations. It runs cool even when I ask it to run continuous calculations that requires it to run a full capacity for 5 minutes or more. In one word I'd say the unit is "IMPRESSIVE".
