Dice Throne Box Game - Strategic Dice & Card Battler (Gunslinger v Samurai)

This is a fabulous entry into Dice Throne. If you get hooked, you can expand by buying more two player boxes or by finding the Battle Chests (elsewhere unless they start to sell them here for a reasonable price). In any case, being able to buy the starter set on Amazon is fabulous. It is a go-to gift too. The flexibility is amazing with these games. I love gunslinger because she has some fun elements (all characters have some unique aspects) and samurai can be a great counter too. Highly recommend this game and all the characters. Only caveat… if you want to learn the game or are buying for someone who has never played it, get a set like this. Some of the other sets can be more complex and harder to learn if you have never played before. However, each character is well balanced so even a relatively easy to learn character can take down a more complex character. It is a beautiful thing!

Man, this game is so fun! My kids begged me to get it, and now they are tired of me asking them to play with me. Each character comes with its own play mat, dice set, and instructions. They each have different abilities. The gameplay is very simple and straightforward. If your kid can read, they'll be able to play. Even your Grandpa could pick it up in a few minutes. It's easy to adjust the amount of time a game takes by starting with more or less hit points.

I been waiting for a game like this. I didn't hear about it until season 2, but I totally bought into season 2 because of the art style and unique character board. The art and card stock are definitely premium quality and the game play is quick and unique every time. After every match you can also reflect and look back and think of a way that you could had a better chance to win, even if the dice were not in your favor! About to buy another pack of heroes to play with 4 people!

This expansion pack for Dice Throne Season 1 is really good. The two characters can be played 1v1 but I would recommend mixing them in the other characters instead. In a 1v1 game I found the samurai had an advantage over the gunslinger. In a 4 person game the power dynamics were more balanced. The quality of the cards, dice, tokens, and player boards is very good. The packaging and player boards are a huge improvement over the season 1 setup.

Easy to play, although I don't think in the great landscape that these characters are very good.

Dice Throne is a quick-to-learn fast-paced game. Some have likened it to "Battle Yahtzee". It's played as a duel between players, each character playing entirely different with their own unique abilities. All Dice Throne characters can be played together (Season 1 and Season 2 make it sound separate, but it's all same rulesets). This is 2 of 8 heroes from Season 2. Season 1 had all 6 of its heroes as one box/product; Season 2 was split into four boxes with two heroes in each.

I bought this because I recently got into loving the Dice Throne board game. I decided to buy it here because the shipping times were so much faster. It came well packaged and in perfect condition!

Very fun game

Essa caixa é bem padrão Dice Throne. Estojos individuais para cada personagem, todos os componentes em boa qualidade (tokens em papelão, dados personalizados, dials em papelão e cartas tamanho padrão USA). Personagens bem equilibrados, e nível de complexidade eu acho que deveria ser o contrário do que a caixa mostra.

I really enjoyed this game. I play it 1v1, personal preference. Great quality and packs well in the box. Will be getting the other characters eventually

Este juego me sorprendió, es muy sencillo pero muy enganchante, es básicamente lo que pasaría si King of Tokio fuera un juego de verdad. Este paquete tiene el personaje cuyo diseño más me gusta (y por mucho) que es la Gunslinger, por el contrario tiene también al que menos me gusta, el Samurai. Gunslinger tiene muchas habilidades para evitar daño y el Samurai tiene una defensa muy buena que además hace daño. Con buenas tiradas Gunslinger es dominante, pero contra rivales con poca defensa el Samurai es mortal.

Estos personajes, son dos personajes bien balanceados el samurai hace buenos ataques de buen daño y además se defiende muy bien y la Gunslinger también ataca bien y tiene habilidades para esquivar daños, si tienes buena suerte éste es tú personaje. Excelente juego, yo recomiendo jugarlo de 1 vs 1 y si lo juegas con más amigos hacer un formato de torneo.
