My Acer laptop came with 8GB memory pre-installed. Fortunately, Acer included 2 slots in the laptop and made it very easy to upgrade the RAM without voiding warranty. I ended up populating the laptop with 16GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM modules; one made by Samsung and the other Crucial. As far as value is concerned, the Crucial RAM cannot be beaten either in terms of price, warranty, or availability. I purchased the single DIM 16 GB for just Rs.5K. RAM prices have fallen drastically and now is the right time to upgrade the RAM on your devices. The RAM came packed safely in a stiff plastic container. Unfortunately, Crucial does not include a tamper-proof seal on the package, so you could be receiving another customer's damaged return. On my laptop, the RAM is working fine in tandem with the Samsung stick. No BSOD etc. inspite of really pushing the RAM utilization and extensive testing over the last one week. I ran a simple Crystal DiskMark test on a 26 GB RAM disk that I created using ImDisk. This means that both the RAM SODIMMs have been used for this test. The benchmark shows 5.5 GB/s sequential read and 7.7 GB/s sequential write! 5-times faster than the fasted SSD. Random Disk Read/Writes are challenging and the RAM-Drive performed amazingly too at 573 MB/sec. A conventional SATA-3 HDD does about 150 MB/s. I have created a 2 GB RAM-Drive using SoftPerfect RAM Disk and now the default Windows TEMP and TMP folders reside on the RAM drive; dramatically reducing the read/writes to the HDD. SSD owners will benefit even more as the limited Write-cycles of their drives will be preserved. Do give the review a like if it was useful to you.

I got two of the 16 gb 2400 Mhz RAM and used it to upgrade the memory on the Alienware 17R4. This works like a charm and the price was also good. Recommended if you are looking to upgrade the RAM on your laptop.

Genuine product and works perfectly with my Dell Inspiron 5577 i7. I was initially worried whether it would be compatible, but it worked immediately after installation without any issues. 3D applications are running so smooth after RAM expansion.

Their Memory Advisor Tool makes upgrading your laptop such a breeze! I was quite skeptical even though the memory advisor tool said that this memory module is compatible with my Asus GL552VX. The reason behind my worry was that my existing RAM (Samsung) is of 2133 MHz frequency at CL 15. Whereas, this memory module is clocked at 2400 MHz at CL 17. On top of this, my existing RAM module was single rank whereas this one is dual rank. I've bought RAM before, but never have I ever mixed RAM modules of different frequencies and different latency timings before. So, I bought it, trusting the Memory Advisor Tool. And this module works perfectly with my existing RAM module. I have not faced any problems for the last 6 days since it was delivered. I would highly recommend using the Crucial Memory Advisor Tool to determine whether this RAM module would work on your system. I would like to add that the Memory advisor incorrectly reported that my laptop's motherboard only supports total memory upto 16 GB. But, on Asus' site, it is mentioned that my motherboard supports total memory upto 32 GB. Now I have 24 GB (16 + 8) of RAM on my system.

While purchase the delivery timelines were given as 15 days but actual delivery of the product is 3 days.

Con i NAS di Synology (nel mio caso un DS220+) le memorie supportate ufficialmente sono care; tra i moduli non supportati alcuni non sono compatibili; altri ancora, pur risultando compatibili e funzionando correttamente, vengono riconosciuti dal NAS come non ufficiali, per cui vi ritrovate con un messaggio di avviso all'avvio. Certo, il messaggio può essere "eliminato" aggiornando manualmente il database di compatibilità del NAS. Ma se volete una soluzione pulita ed economica, questo modulo Crucial è perfetto. Il modulo da 16GB DDR4 2400 con sigla CT16G4SFD824A, infatti, non crea nessun tipo di problema: i tempi di boot sono gli stessi di prima e il banco viene riconosciuto senza errori. Con un totale di 18GB di RAM il sistema può essere utilizzato con più tranquillità, ad esempio avviando in contemporanea più macchine virtuali Linux e una con Windows. Al prezzo a cui viene offerto (io l'ho pagata 32€) penso non ci sia niente di meglio.
