Exactly as shown, does what it’s supposed to
I rarely leave reviews, but this is such a handy tool! This item is larger than it looks, well built, and does what it’s supposed to, shell corn! My cobs are a bit small for what it can handle. But it does a really good job nonetheless. I’d recommend this if you’ve got some corn to shell.

I was looking for a way to strip hard corn kernels from cob as dad buys a lot of squirrel corn but also feeds the kernels to the birds. This little made in USA device worked great to dekernal corn cobs without busting my thumbs like before

It’s durable.
Well, it’s durable because it’s metal, but then it says on a sticker that it contains materials known to cause cancer...so I’m not really sure I want to use it on my corn. Also, it is way too big for my home grown corn, but I don’t really feel like dealing with returning it. Kind of a bummer. Probably good for commercially grown popping corn.
