Have No Doubts - High Quality Keyboard Without The High Cost
One of the most durable metals framed keyboards I have ever used. The cell phone holder is genius level design, allowing me to keep an eye on my incoming calls while I type up a storm of information. The back lighting is even, bright and colorful. This unit is heavy! Anybody breaks into your house; you could use it to brain the bad guys and continue to type on it after the ambulance takes them away. If I sharpen the bottom edge, I could probably use it to slice my pizza. If a UFO lands and tries to abduct me, this keyboard is my first line of defense! Aliens have big gray heads, and this is like a big metal slab of alien-head slapping perfection. Afterwards, I could probably plug it into the alien computer to reprogram their ship for myself. Don't roll your eyes! After the keyboard arrives and you read the message from the company CEO, you'll fully understand why the tone of my review sounds like so much crazy fun! UPDATE!! Here I am today, 6/4/2020 - well outside the warranty window. I wore the black paint off of the WASD keys, but please understand, this is not from normal use. My fingers are like carbon fiber gaming power stabbers that mash into a keyboard with online killer force. Normal keyboards die on me in 6 months or less. Not this one! I couldn't find the key-cap type online as it's a hybrid keyboard, to buy the WASD replacements. So, I contacted KLIM directly and asked what kind of keys I needed to look up, or if they had the WASD packs that gamers tend to buy for this very reason, so I can buy a few packs of them. Guess what? They are sending me WASD keys, and more than one set, for free! Mind boggling! Why? This isn't some one hundred plus dollar keyboard, but they're sure treating me like it was! All I can say is WOW! They've hooked me as a customer for life. ^_^ Edit Update! 12/02/2025 - Yes, this keyboard is still alive! Compared to everything else I have bought and used; THIS keyboard is purely immortal! I can almost hear it say in a dramatic way, "There can only be one!" Since I replaced my WASD with the free pack they sent, and I still have another WASD set on standby after ALL this time, this keyboard is still working like brand-spanking new after my husband used it to write four full length novels! Durability to the extreme! I am still impressed! Now over the years, I purchased a few other keyboards and put this one in storage, and the other much pricier keyboards only lasted four to five months before they self-destructed! I got this one out of storage for the last time around two years ago and has been slapping the spacebar like a mean Klingon ever since, and this thing takes it! Amazing! Right now, it's no longer offered for sale, which kind of breaks my heart a little bit. If they ever offer this model again, my second and third house computer gets their permanent replacement keyboards. KLIM! This company rocks! I can't say it enough!

Super nice workmanship
This keyboard is super nice for the price.. If you're looking for the super clicky loud keystroke, save up a bit of cash and just go mechanical (funny, when I was a kid, they were ALL mechanical). What this keyboard is , is a solid good tactile feeling quiet board. It can be a little bit noisy depending on your typing style but I use laptops all day for work so the sound level & especially the keystroke feel is great for me. I also like the back-light. As another reviewer mentioned, the yellow and white are actually pretty pleasing. With that said, there ARE a couple spots that are a little bit dimmer than the rest (fn key), but you can adjust the brightness anyway so no biggie ( I don't use the FN key that much anyway).. The one thing I do find myself having to get used to is the key height ( I mostly use low profile for work), and the enter key as this board is a UK style it seems. Not the board's fault nor is it a deal breaker. It IS a fullsize keyboard and very sturdy , so if you're looking for something light and compact to haul around in a bag, this aint it. In all, for the money spent, I think it's a great buy. works good so far for gaming and general typing. For 20 bucks you cant beat it. Highly recommended

A solid backlit keyboard in an easily gift-able price
Packaging: - The keyboard is packaged well, it came nicely boxed with a key puller, a fancy envelope with a cute 'thank you', and some stickers. Hardware: - It's got a good weight to it, but the look is provided by the thin metal surrounding the sides. It's a very aggressive look, but not cheap-feeling, and none of the edges are sharp or uncomfortable in use. The visible screws are an interesting touch. The logo print is clean and good looking. - I did try to use the keypuller to see what's under the keys, but found it's too small... - My 'lock' indicator at the top right of the keyboard was mounted upside down. The picture I've included has 'numlock' and 'capslock' engaged, even though the 'scrolllock' is lit. This didn't affect usability at all, but was kind of interesting. - The phone holder at the top of the keyboard hides the bottom 1/3 of my iPhone SE when I've got it in place. I can clearly see my notifications, though, so I think it serves its purpose. Installation : - I struggled with plugging it in for a moment before looking at the plug -- the metal plug had caved in slightly, just enough to stop me. So I took a house key and gently flattened it back into shape. I wouldn't think that's a common issue, but worth mentioning. - Once plugged in, Windows discovered it easily, and it appears everything is hard-coded into the device. No software in the box or instructions to download, but everything just kinda works. - The default function keys worked perfectly and immediately. The 'lock' button seems to just lock the keyboard entirely, which is a neat feature, but not equivalent to Windows' built-in lock (Win+L). Lighting: - Good colors, bright and clean. Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Yellow, Light blue, White. The light itself is bright and clean, and pretty evenly distributed under the keys. The function keys to change brightness do so in reasonable steps. - I have pretty sensitive hearing and live in a really quiet environment, so I do hear a little high-pitched circuit whine when the LEDs are on. I have experienced this before with a few LED-heavy products around this price-range, and it's only noticeable if it's dead quiet in the house (mine is often, but I live in the middle of nowhere, so, take that with a grain of salt). Just something to consider if you have very sensitive hearing. Typing Experience: - This is the first time I've used a 'semi-mechanical' keyboard and appears to simply mean every key has a singular stiff membrane dome underneath. This does give it a satisfying tactile bump, however, and definitely closer to an MX Brown than similarly priced baseline membrane keyboards. I use a mechanical keyboard for the most part, and this doesn't feel too soft by comparison. I don't *prefer* it to tactile bump keyswitches, but it has a pretty satisfying "clunk" into place. - Keys are easy to read and pretty standard, everything is mostly where you'd expect. - It's worth knowing that the "|" and "\" character key is to the left of the enter key, rather than above it. This was a little jarring to discover by accident. I'm not personally a fan, but it took just a couple good hours of typing to forget about. Just a little extra reach when hitting the return and you're good. Overall: - If you're looking for a backlit keyboard with some good typing feel in the price range, it's hard to find any reason not to pick this one. It'd be a great gift to accessorize someone's first gaming PC and a nice option to keep on hand if you lug your machine to LANs.

This is a very good value keyboard. Very easy to love it. What is also, but by no means insignificant, is that KLIM offers a 5 year warranty for this product. Now, I hope you never need it. But I did. After owning the keyboard for 2 1/2 years, the space bar started to play up, sticking, not working... I gave it a good de-gunk clean, no better. So, I reached out to the manufacturer: and this really deserves full marks, "go to the top of the class" service: after describing what I had done, what the keyboard wasn't doing, they very quickly sent a brand new 2022 model replacement! For the service alone, this keyboard deserves consideration, but the build quality is solid (metal base, not plastic) and except for the problem (and which device doesn't eventually say "I've had enough, not playing anymore"?) space key, the rest performs brilliantly. And for the price? It's worth it at twice the price, methinks...

I was not expecting a lot when I had gotten the keyboard. I wanted something to plug into my laptop and work. The keyboard looked neat, so what the heck right? Have to say that I am impressed on different levels. Here is my journey with this product to help you decide if you want to dive in like I did. There were a few options on the top of the list for me. I wanted something cheaper, and something that I could use for gaming. The two things that drew me in where that the reviews present didn't have anything nasty to say about keys not working, or what not. They were fairly good reviews all around for a more economical offering to the gaming industry. The other thing that got me is that this is a Canadian product. Cool. So let's support my own country..., and paid for. Soon after the purchase I was contacted by the company with a personal message that was neat, a nice touch, and it was actually funny. Still had not received the keyboard, but I already felt that with that personal touch I had gone in the right direction. I think that more companies should aim for that personal touch more. Once I had gotten the keyboard, I had unpacked it and it was not what I had expected. I thought it was still cool though because it was different. The standard keyboard that we are all more or less used to is pretty much a controller board with the keys plugged in and an often plastic outer shell clam shelled into place to protect the controller board (Not the official terms but I am sure you can understand what I am talking about). In this case, they had that controller board set up with a backing, and a metal top and the keys secured into place from there. The metal top of the keyboard is of a different design from what some might be used to, and the left and right sides of the keyboard stick out slightly making it slightly wider than your standard keyboard. For me none of this is an issue. The keyboard can be propped up slightly, isn't sliding everywhere. I just have to rejig the setup of how close the mouse is and done. Looks unique at the end of the day and not like every other keyboard out there, and for me that is pretty cool. As for the keys, the 'semi-mechanical' side of the house works well for me. The keys take very very slightly more pressure than what I am used to, and it took getting used to having the slim enter key instead of the elongated one. All around the typing is fine and it is quiet enough so my wife does not complain about the clickity click click. The keyboard lighting works, and some might be up in arms about the fact that the lighting is more in the center of the keyboard than the the function keys, but if that is all you have on this keyboard, then that isn't too bad. I find that since I use the center of the keyboard for gaming more than the function keys, it works for me. All around, this keyboard looks and feels sturdy. The keys feel nice, and typing does not feel unnatural or like a chore. It is lit which is cool, and has this neat and unique metal top plate design that I find different so it's not the same keyboard as what everyone else is sporting. The company does the whole personal touch thing and is amusing in their communication (At least they were to me). More importantly, as a very economical option for a gaming keyboard, it works stupendously well. Why spend over $100 when you can get this at a fraction of the cost and buy a new game instead with that extra money. I would suggest this keyboard to anyone and will buy another one easily to support this awesome company if this one blows up for some alien invasion related disaster.

OMG, this is one of the most incredible keyboards I ever tried! It has different lights and colors that make me have an amazing gaming experience. I am a pro gamer, I tried this keyboard on different games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, Overwatch and CSGO. It gives me such a comfortable gaming lifestyle since I have it and while I want to perform on video games, I have excellent results using this specific keyboard. It is as every other QUERTY keyboard, in term of where the key are on the keyboard, so it's not confusing at all! It has some addition space, that makes it really cool looking. It is a semi-mecanic keyboard, so it makes just enough noise. I am very happy with my purchase and I think that every gamer would love this keyboard! I would definitively give it a 9,5/10.
