For all the claims of being super fresh, this is a huge disappointment. The red licorice was all rock hard and inedible. The Sour varieties were okay, but still overly chewy for my taste.

This is the best licorice I have ever had. I’m a connoisseur especially of black licorice and that’s the first container I opened up today. The taste was remarkable. I believe this will be very addictive for me. Have not tried the red yet but if it’s anything like the black, I will be totally ecstatic. You won’t go wrong with this. My order came extremely quick too.

It's right in the middle in texture. I usually like my licorice by some considered dryer or stale. This is right in the middle a medium blance in txture. Definately chewy thick pieces of licorice anout 2 inches in length. You can tell the quality by the taste. Rich licorice taste. They are thicker in size compared to twizzler. You can tell they are an upscale licorice candy. I would order this again. Worth the price.

Not soft like the adds brag about. Seems old and not soft (Australian) style, not sure if the Finnish style is supposed to be like that or not. But not at all impressed. May very well have been with Amazon to long before being sent out. I contacted Licorice.com, explained what I felt happened. They are sending me (Free) a new order to replace what I ordered from Amazon. This type of customer service is why I will be coming back.
