Excellent product and outstanding customer service
I use this lamp as a makeup light on my desk and it works perfectly; the light is brighter than any makeup-designated light I've used. I also love the sleek, practical design; it can fit anywhere. The ability to rotate and adjust is extremely useful as well. After 6 months of use, I had an issue with the charger, and the customer support experience was outstanding--extremely fast response and resolution. You can tell they deeply value--and care about--their customers.

Not returnable
Not returnable item whereas the roductnpage clearly mentions 10days returnable. It's a waste for me now.Product description doesn't mention about the side effects mentioned in the manual.

Bright, small foot print, portable, loose connection
I bought this lamp on the advice of my doc 2 years ago. He told me I needed a lamp of at least 10,000 lux. He also told me I would need to keep the light no further than 12 inches from my face, so keep that in mind when purchasing/using these lamps. I use it for both SAD and to fight morning fatigue (I live in Michigan- winter daylight is short).I haven't noticed a HUGE difference, but I have noticed a difference. In fact, there have been a few days when I have used it longer than my doc recommended (he says 30-60 min) and I found myself a little hyper- like I had ingested caffeine (I don't drink coffee, for the record). You don't want to use this in the evening! I use it first thing in the morning (on the brightest setting). If I don't have time before work, I bring it with me and use it at my desk. (My coworkers are slightly annoyed by the brightness, but they deal with it). Per my Doc, you want to use it flipped up, so the light is high, and slightly to the left or right (you want it to simulate sunlight as much as possible).I love that its portable and takes up very little space. Very bright. Can also be used as a task lamp. (It does get a little warm after extended use, so I wouldn't use it all day). The price is very good for what you get. And with two years of use, its been a very good value. The only con is that the cord has a poor connection- always has. If I move it, it turns off and I have to wiggle it a bit just right to turn back on. Annoying.
