Well it works fine on my fine wavey/ curly hair, infact it's never been so defined, and no frizz either.

is this good for a pre-wash on the cg method?

This is a styling product - it is meant to remain in your hair after you've washed and conditioned it, not before. It is compatible with the cg method.

You could because it's a very lightweight conditioner and doesn't contain any silicones or anything that could cause buildup. However, be sure to use a cleanser of some kind occasionally, because this is a conditioner, not a cowash
