How do you dispense the plastic free version? There is nothing to turn to move it up?!

After taking off the top, you push up the center underneath to the desired amount. Once you have the deodorant adjusted to the proper height, I find that it helps to squeeze the sides of the deodorant so that the solid doesn't get pushed back down into the container during application. It was a little hard to push up in the video because of this "squeezing" I do. Don't be alarmed: mine in the video is almost out, which is why it is pushed so high up in the center. You get the same amount as you do in the plastic version.

Why is the paper version of this product more expensive? Are we extorting our eco-concious consumers?

No idea. In purchases this paper version as an eco friendly option. Willing to pay a bit more but never again because I can’t really travel with it because after several uses the cardboard container bends so can no longer put the top on.

Why is it advertised as baking soda free? baking soda is sodium bicarbonate ? why is baking soda bad in deodorant?

Baking soda can cause a rash. Deodorants with baking soda give me a rash that turns the skin on my armpits darker. Switching to Native's formula without baking soda helped me - but double-check the listing

How too open this container to use the deodorant?

Push the product up from the bottom because it doesn’t have a dial like the plastic ones, then squeeze the cardboard container to hold the deodorant while using it.

IT'S AMAZING, HOWEVER..

It's literally AMAZING! Lasts all day even when I don't touch up, after a really long and sweaty day. It's the best for anyone having issues with strong sweat. However the container sucks lmao. Pleeeeease get the one in plastic. 30€ and the product is paper and not practical at all. It doesn't allow you to roll out and roll in. I basically have to use my fingers to push it out and back in. It would have been 5 stars. It does stain clothes but just a little scrubbing with some soap before throwing it in the washing machine gets it all off.
