A winner!
I just recently started drinking matcha lattes. This is the third brand I've tried, and I think this is one I will stick with. First of all, the packaging is much more user friendly. It's not as cute as some others that come in nice little tins, but the bags inside those tins make a huge mess. Plus the matcha sticks to the little packets that absorb moisture. I know it's a little thing, but I hate getting the green powder all over the counter. The powder dissolves well and although it comes out of solution a bit if I don't drink it quickly, but all I have to do is swirl the glass and it goes right back in. I like the taste of this--it is maybe a little grassier than some of the others, but I think it's quite tasty. It also gives me a nice mid-afternoon energy boost. The reason I ordered it initially was the price--it was much more economical than others I've tried. Definitely will purchase again.

Pros: This matcha powder is very tasty! Smooth and creamy with a fabulous earthy flavor and vibrant color. Tastes fresh and has the perfect matcha aroma. Not sweetened so you can choose your own sweetness level and not bitter like previous brands I’ve tried. Cons: The packaging is messy. It comes with a zip top feature under the “tear open” line but it isn’t zipped closed. When you rip or cut open the top section, loose matcha goes everywhere! Even after I tapped as much matcha back down under the zip line I still lost quite a bit of product. The zipper closure also doesn’t seal very well and I need to put it into a ziplock bag-defeating the purpose. This matcha also needs to be blended quite a bit. Even when using a sifter and whisk I still have small lumps. Vigorously whisking is a must. Overall: I really like this matcha and would purchase it again but hope they re-consider the packaging at some point.

Okay matcha
Not my favorite matcha. It’s a bit darker and bitter than the other brand (Encha) I typically buy, but I wanted to try something new. I’m going to finish my pack but probably wouldn’t purchase again.
