I have very dry very acne prone skin. This is my third time buying The Azelaic acid serum- I absolutely adore it. It's been recommended by multiple dermatologists and cosmetic chemists that I've seen online for rec azelaic acids. Not oily or too thick, not water like either. It layers so well with other serums and under makeup to reduce and prevent breakouts. Previously my Makeup would give me closedComadones especially on my neck and forehead, but with this layered underneath there's been a drastic reduction in acne and CCs from makeup throughout the day. I'm able to use it with my Tretinoin without any issues- I do my hydrating serum's, let them dry for about 20 minutes, then apply the serum, wait 15 minutes to apply my moisturizer, then another 20 minutes before I put my tretinoin on last. Each layer needs to dry a bit so that the Azelaic acid isn't made too strong by the liquid layers before or after it (same with the Tret). Including photo of how it looks when applied

After using the Naturium Azelaic Acid 10% consistently for several weeks, I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars. While the formula includes promising ingredients like azelaic acid, niacinamide, and vitamin C, my experience with this product left much to be desired, particularly in terms of packaging, scent, and overall results relative to the price. One of the first frustrations was the packaging design and actual amount of product. Although the bottle is labeled as 2 ounces and marketed as “jumbo,” the opaque, inflexible bottle makes it impossible to tell how much product remains, which made it difficult to pace usage. I finished the bottle surprisingly quickly, much faster than expected, which made the price feel even steeper for the amount actually available. Another major drawback is the strong, unpleasant smell. The serum emits a noticeable chemical or medicinal odor that is off-putting when applying it to the face. While it doesn’t linger for hours, the initial scent makes each application less enjoyable and detracts from the overall experience, especially compared with other similar serums that are virtually odorless. In terms of results, the benefits were minimal. Despite regular use according to instructions, I did not notice significant improvements in skin tone, texture, or redness. While the formula is gentle and didn’t cause irritation, the combination of actives — including niacinamide and vitamin C — produced only subtle effects. Given the high price, the limited results make it hard to justify a repeat purchase. The texture of the serum was light and easy to apply, which is one positive aspect. However, pleasant texture alone is not enough when the scent is unpleasant, the bottle is difficult to manage, and the results are underwhelming. Combined with the rapid depletion of the product, the overall experience felt disappointing. Overall, the Naturium Azelaic Topical Acid 10% is a product with some potential on paper, but in practice it falls short. The bad smell, misleading “jumbo” bottle, quick depletion, and minimal visible effects make it difficult to recommend, particularly for the price. Final verdict: 2 out of 5 stars. Gentle and easy to apply, but poor scent, quick finish, and minimal results make repurchase hard to justify.

Amazing product to help clear up adult acne. I’ve used it for a few months and is evening out skin texture as well. Large bottle that lasts a long time. I use before moisturizer and doesn’t leave sticky.

Great product. My skin loves it. I hardly break out since using this product. Simplifies my morning routine as it as niacinamide and vitamin c included.

Consistency and sunscreen is key! Over the long run the effects are stunning, I was hesitant about trying this because it was hard to find a product that would have an overwhelmingly positive review. The biggest key with this was consistency. For the first couple of weeks I didn't notice an extreme difference, but then I started tracking some stubborn dark spots over the next month and wow. I am so impressed at how this product not only faded my stubborn dark spots but also I feel like I don't get new dark spots from acne as easily. I paired it the laneige cream skin toner at night and daily sunscreen in the morning (reapply throughout the day because sun exposure can worsen your dark spots) and it worked amazingly. This is the first time ever that I have seen my skin this clear (not I use light coverage skin tints with tiny corrections using putty concealer and I'm super happy with how healthy my skin looks)
