It is not a difficult build, but there are a fair number of screws involved, so having an electric screwdriver definitely helps. It is smooth, easy to use, and makes switching between sitting and standing very simple. The memory presets are genuinely useful too. There are four available, but for most people two will probably cover everyday use nicely. One small feature that stood out more than expected was the child lock, which is actually very useful if you have young children around the house who like pressing buttons. In everyday use, it feels sturdy and dependable, including with a reasonable amount of weight on it. The only real downside is that there is a slight wobble when the desk is raised to standing height. It is not severe enough to make it feel unstable, but it is noticeable and worth keeping in mind if you are especially sensitive to movement. Overall, this feels like a very strong option for the money. It is spacious, easy to live with, well featured, and solidly built, making it a good choice for anyone wanting an affordable standing desk that still feels like a proper upgrade.

This VASAGLE electric standing desk has turned out to be one of my best Amazon buys. For the price, it’s outstanding value — a motorised desk with memory presets usually costs far more, yet this one looks and feels genuinely premium. The finish is sleek, the frame is sturdy, and overall it looks much more expensive than it actually is. The height adjustment is smooth and quiet, and the 4 memory options make switching between sitting and standing effortless. It’s made a big difference to my workspace and overall comfort. Pro tip: take your time when building it. It took me about an hour on my own, but having a second person definitely helps — especially when holding the heavier legs in place while you secure them. Once everything is tightened properly, the desk feels incredibly solid. I’m really happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and affordable electric standing desk.

Let's start with a simple fact, when I bought this desk it was for £149.99, so for anyone that complains about it being in any way cheap needs to remember how much they paid for it. The desktop is coated chipboard which comes in four pieces, two horizontally and a vertical piece either end which are rounded and have the cable management holes, I presume this also helps them cater for the fact that they sell this desk in various sizes. The 4 desktop pieces are affixed with wood dowels and four simple 2-screw mending brackets, does it make a solid slab, no, but one it's on the legs it's fine and stable, just not completely flush finish. Again, remember how much you're paying, you can always replace it for a solid piece later and still be happy for having a good value for money desk. The legs, mechanism, motor, etc were all easy to put together and you get spare fixings just in case. Instructions are clear and easy along with guidance on how to use the electronic controls, save height preferences, etc. The cable management glands aren't great but again, remember you're getting a large electronic height adjustable desk for £150, get better brushed glands later and pop them in if you want. In summary, it's a nice large 180x80cm desk which is fully motorised electronically at half the price you can buy a manual crank standing desk (which is smaller) from a certain well-known flat-pack furniture store. it arrived quickly in two small boxes well packaged, quick to put together with clear instructions along with spare bits and the Allen key needed (you just need your own phillips screwdriver). At some point later I will perhaps swap out the cable glands so I can easily get larger things through it and I may well replace the desktop when it shows signs of wear but i'm still happy that i've got a good quality and comfortable desk for the price I paid.

I am really impressed with this desk. Sturdy, smart and easy to assemble. I was really nervous about assembling it and left it in its box procrastinating for more than a week. But I needn’t have worried - it is one of the easiest flat packs I have ever put together. As a fairly unfit woman in her 50s, I expected to find it a challenge to do on my own, but the instructions were clear, the parts were well labelled and the pre-drilled holes were in all the right places. I put it together on my own and didn’t even break a sweat - or a fingernail! It’s a good size, works smoothly and quietly and I can’t fault it at all. There were two or three tweaks I would make to the instructions but really very minor. The desk feels sturdy and stable at all heights and looks good.

Arrived early! Easy to assemble even if you’re on your own. Good solid sturdy desk once it’s all fixed together. The desk move smoothly up and down with very little noise so save the back ache too! Fits great where I wanted it, all in all a great desk and deal.

Great width height adjusting desk . A lot of assembly (all tools supplied) that will take an hour or So. But once in use it’s a good large table that can be adjusted to suit your height . These look really modern and good quality . Great at this price point
