If you pour in hot water (roughly 80+ degC), the water will still feel pretty warm (a temperature that feels very warm but not enough to burn your tongue) about 8 hours later. The lid is easy to remove, and clicks in place when you need to put it back. The press to release to the water feels sturdy and springy. Made in China, and with quality.
