Great deal on a high quality Continuity Camera Mount.
Better than expected. Nice metal mount with a strong magnet. More substantial than expected. Does not "droop"-- joints can be adjusted without too much effort, yet they stay in place as they should. At the affordable price, I was concerned that the mount would be plastic, but it is metal and seems of very good quality. Great for iPhone users with Macs without FaceTime cameras, like MacPro, Mac mini and Mac Studio users that don't own Apple brand displays (which have built-in cameras.) Use your iPhone with this mount and enjoy FaceTime (and other camera usage) from your Mac.

Good on standalone monitor and as a separate stand, may be too heavy for some laptop screen hinges
It works great on top of a standalone monitor, and it works fine as a standalone stand. The build quality feels solid and heavy. The reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it's weight due to its metal construction, which together with the phone (iPhone 15) means it's too heavy for the laptop hinge on either of my two macbook airs to stay upright in any other angle than 90 degrees โ they are pulled backwards because of the weight. I was hoping for a product that would work as well with both my standalone monitor, and the laptop screen โ but now I have instead bought two separate holders โ and this one will sitt permanently on my desktop monitor. Update: The seller contacted me after having read my initial review โ asked me if there was anything they could do to alleviate my issues, and made sure to point out that they will update the product description to better reflect that it may not work with all phones/cases/laptop hinges. So, very good and service minded customer support.
