Will it scratch porcelain tile ?? i have model v10 animal. original head is scratching tile.

The soft roller does not scratch; we ordered the soft roller for V10 & V11. The V11 has a much better battery life than the V10 animal. The animal vacuum also works great with V11!

Is this recommended to use on vinyl floors instead of the brush head that came with our V10?

Yes this works well on my vinyl floors. Had to order this attachment since user guide for floors said not to use brush that came with V10. I also have a few area rugs that I use the soft roller head on as manufacturer recommended not to use vacuum with a brush.
